    Funeral services are scheduled this morning at St. Mary's church for Mrs. Edward Wolf, Third Street, well known Kaukauna Times feature writer and news reporter, who died at the Kaukauna community hospital Sunday morning following an illness. Her natural gift for narration and her unrestrained liking for people brightened her words with a warm light. Soon the readers of the Times are looking for more stories from this writer. She became a much talked about person. "Who is this Mrs. Wolf from third Street?" She always has a way about her. Mrs. Wolf edged into the eye and eventually the hearts of the public when she began writing stories for the Kaukauna Times after winning a writers contest in 1948.

    b. Anotherr photo with her as novice with I'm guessing is her mother, the little girl and a brother. I don't think it's her father.
    c. Another with her as a candidate and another professed Sister. Another photo identifies this nun as possibly Sister Modesta. Was she also a relative of yours????
    d. Another photo with her a novice, The above nun (Modesta???) and her mother.
    e. Then a group picture of her with the woman again who looks like her mother, a grandmother,, and several children. I'm guessing that one of the photos was her as a candidate on the day that she became a novice. And then this picture was of her as novice after the Reception ceremony. I don't know anything about how many siblings she had, if she was one of the older ones or younger. Several people on this photo could be older sisters with their children.
    SO that's about all the information I can offer…a rather long answer to a simple yes or no question. Do you have photos of her? Do you want copies of these? He had been employed at the Winnebago State Hospital for about 30 years as a male nurse, prior to his retirement in 1971. He was a member of the Kaukauna Eagles Club.     Alice Anna (Wolf) Schneider, A gentle heart stopped beating on June 12, 2012. Alice Anna (Wolf) Schneider, age 96, passed away at Cherry Meadows, Appleton, surrounded by family. She was born in the Town of Buchanan on November 13, 1915, to the late John and Augusta (VanRoy) Wolf.
    She married Peter Schneider at Holy Angels Church in Darboy, on January 4, 1941, and they were blessed with four children: John, Charmaine (Clyde) Baumgart, Dennis (Karen), and Karen (Mike) Quaintance. She has eight grandchildren: Chris (Dave) Wenninger, Curt (Laurie) Baumgart, Carrie (Jerry) Witt, Chad (Abbey) Baumgart, Jason (fiancée Tiffany) Schneider, Erin (Nick) Lorang, Ben and Logan Schneider. Alice completes her family with twelve great grandchildren; Tiffani, Meghan, and Austin Wenninger; Weiland and Dylan Baumgart; Morgan, Erin, Mallory, Lindsey and Colin Witt; Ashton Schneider, and Silas Lorang.
    She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
    Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter, in 1997, her sisters and brothers-in-law: Marie (Harry) Jonen, Lucille (Ed) Glasheen, Susie (Ed) Kavanaugh, Elaine (Walter) Donnermeyer; her brother, John, and her husband's family; Steve, Andrew, Paul, and Rudy Schneider, Betty Arnold, Julia Berger, Ann Randall, Margaret Cahill, and Mildred Alexander.
    Our Mother was a kind, gentle woman, who worked hard all her life. She was a great seamstress and cook, who taught us many recipes that were handed down from generations before us. You had a long life, but it was time to go join "Pa". He's been waiting a long time. We will all miss you, but your memory lives on in each of us.
    A private service for Alice was held at the Greenwood Fargo Funeral Home with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Interment took place at St. Mary Cemetery in Kaukauna.

    Elaine Donnermeyer, of Kaukauna, age 90, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2008, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on April 17, 1918, in Appleton, the daughter of the late John and Augusta Wolf. On April 19, 1941, she married Walter Donnermeyer, Sr. and he preceded her in death on January 14, 1998. Elaine was a member of St. Katharine Drexel - St. Aloysious.
    She is survived by her sons: Wally (Sharon) Donnermeyer, Jr., Kaukauna and Ron (Barb) Donnermeyer, Kimberly; six grandchildren: Tammy (Ryan) Schmirler, Todd (Melissa) Donnermeyer, Kelly (Kyle) Marohl and Jamie (Jeff) Jansen; Stacy (Tim) Dollevoet and Brad (Anna) Donnermeyer; eleven great-grandchildren: Lexi, Haylee and Payton Schmirler; Ryker Donnermeyer and Bowen Avery; Abby, Isaiah, Grace and Lucy Dollevoet; Noah and Kolbe Donnermeyer and her sister: Alice Schnieder, Kaukauna.     Elaine E. Weyenberg, of Kaukauna, age 85, died at Theda Clark Medical Center Thursday February 14, 2013. She was born on April 15, 1927 in Appleton to the late Clarence and Elvira (Kipp) Van Rooy. She graduated from Appleton High School in 1945. Elaine married Lester Weyenberg on October 19, 1949 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1995. She was employed at Pacon. Elaine went on many bus tours with her friends and loved to play cards. She also enjoyed gardening. While Elaine never had any children, she treasured her cats Charlie, Maggie and Molly.
    Elaine is survived by her sister: Peggy (Whitey) Evers, Little Chute; sister-in-law: Beverly Van Rooy; and Lester's family: Sr. Catherine Weyenberg, Owen (Irene) Hietpas and Shirley Weyenberg. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents and husband Lester, Elaine was preceded in death by her brothers: Tom and infant Donald Van Rooy; father and mother-in-law: George and Hattie Weyenberg; and members of Lester's family: Clarence Weyenberg, Mary (Woodrow) Diedrick, Jerry (Julia) Hietpas and Peter (Betty) Schumacher.

    Little Chute - Peggy A. Evers, age 84, of Little Chute, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on March 18, 2018. She was born on May 1, 1933, daughter of the late Clarence and Elvira (Kipp) Van Rooy. Peggy graduated from Appleton High School, Class of 1951. She married Sebastian "Whitey" Evers at St. Therese Catholic Church on September 17, 1960. Together they shared 55 years of marriage before he passed away on December 22, 2015.
    Peggy and Whitey enjoyed their many years of trips to the trailer on White Clay Lake. She also enjoyed bowling, gardening, cooking (she was a fabulous baker and cake decorator) and attending her grandchildren's activities. Peggy was a long time member of the Auxiliary Unit #258 and St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church.
    Peggy is survived by her daughters: Charla (Terry Ott) Derks and Karen (Sam) Ciske; grandchildren: Katie (Tom) Van Zeeland, Chris (Amanda) Derks, Bob (Jess) Derks, Shelly (Chance Bartz) Long, Andy (Will Anderson) Derks, Mitch Ciske, Josh Ciske and Emma Ciske; great grandchildren: Max, Colt, Sloane, Sutton, Crewe, Kaylee, Riley, Braedy, Cory, Beau and Mya; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bev Van Rooy, George (Celeste) Evers, Lorayne Evers, Raymond Brockman, Don Evers, Ade Evers, Rosie Evers and Ronald Beattie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Whitey; her parents: Clarence and Elvira; a sister, Elaine (Lester) Weyenberg; brothers: Tom Van Rooy and infant Donald Van Rooy; father and mother-in-law: John and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Hietpas) Evers; brothers and sisters-in-law: Ed (Vi) Evers, Hank Evers, Ray (Del) Evers, Delia (Martin) Joosten, Tony Evers, Katie Brockman, Gordy Evers, Mary Ann Beattie and Elaine Evers; and a very special friend, Jean "Jenner" Wydeven.
    Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating.     Lee J. Casper, 75 of Appleton died Tuesday March 18, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born in Appleton, September 24, 1938, son of the late Lawrence and Marian (Driessen) Casper. Lee married Betty Opsteen on August 5, 1966.
    Lee served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Jacob Coppus Post #258 American Legion, Little Chute. Lee enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, hard and soft water fishing and reading. He was an avid race fan and motorcyclist.
    Lee is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Betty; their son, Mike, Appleton; three sisters, Helen (John) Moshak, Skokie, IL; Barbara (Jerry Powers) Marian, Harvard, IL; and Mary Elizabeth (James Peterson) Casper, Oshkosh; and a brother, Dave (Debbie) Casper, Combined Locks; and many nieces and nephews. He was further preceded in death by a sister, Lynn Belanger.
    Memorial service for Lee will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday March 22, 2014 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Mike Huff officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
    Lee's family would like to thank Dr. Lee Vogel and the staff of UW Health, and also the entire staff on the seventh floor of Appleton Medical Center for all of their care and compassion.

    Gerald Edward Glasheen, age 73, died peacefully on Monday, May 2, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton with his family at his side. Gerry was born on February 6, 1938, in Kaukauna, the son of the late Edward and Lucille (Wolf) Glasheen. Gerry was formerly employed for over forty years with Thilmany Paper Company. He was an avid Packers and Brewers fan who enjoyed reading mysteries, and spending time with his best friend, Sassy.

She was bo rn on May 10, 1917, in Little Chute to Henry and Marie (Van Gompel) Verbet en. Eleanor was a graduate of both St. John's Grade School and High Schoo l. On May 30, 1941, she married her forever love, Bob Vanden Heuvel. In 19 47 they moved to Wrightstown, and together operated Van's Food Market unt il 1974. Eleanor was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Wrightstow n, where she participated in Christian Mothers. Mom was also a member of W rightstown's American Legion Auxiliary Post 436.Eleanor spent her entire life helping others, starting as an adolescent st aying with her grandmother, and later in life taking care of her mother Ma rie, then taking her father-in-law Joe into her and Bob's home. The coup le enjoyed square dancing, playing cards, and spending time with their won derful friends and family.Her children and grandchildren were the most precious people in her lif e. She is survived by her children, Karen and Tom Zirbel; Connie and Dav id Schwalenberg; Tom and Jeanne Vanden Heuvel; and grandchildren, David a nd Lynn Zirbel; Sarah Zirbel and fiance Bob Schisel, Anna, Leah and Mar ia Schwalenberg; Emily Vanden Heuvel and special friend Cory Promer; and L iz Vanden Heuvel. Not to be forgotten are her sister, Millie Oskar; brothe r, Jerry, and sister-in-law, Jo Ann Verbeten; sisters-in-law, Helen Van Vr eede; Wynne Vanden Heuvel; and many nieces and nephews. The family wish ed to thank her special friends, including her card clubs, her Tuesday vis itors, Bill and Ethel Mitchler; her special angel Jan Johnson; her co-gran dma Grandma Schwally; and her Legion Auxiliary friends.
