    Angela "Angie" Rose Green (Marx), 90, of Appleton, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. She was born in Marshfield, Wis. on Jan. 13, 1922 to the late John and Theresa (Leinwander) Marx. On Nov. 26, 1942, she married Roger C. Green, and they enjoyed 50 years together until his death in 1993. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
    Angie was a past president of VFW Auxiliary 2778, a member of the National Catholic Society of Foresters, American Legion Auxiliary Post 38, Cooties Auxiliary and St. Pius X Catholic Church, where she had been a member for 48 years. She enjoyed spending time bowling, bicycling, playing cards, embroidering, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, singing, traveling, storytelling and attending her grandchildren's activities. She never missed a birthday or an anniversary and was always there to lend a hand.
    Angie is survived by 10 children: Gerri (David) Ayers, Ronald (Mary Ellen) Green, Roger "Skipp" (Judy) Green Jr., Ginny (James) McGhee, Norb (Tanisha) Green, Angie (John) Coenen, Marilyn (Mark) Lichon, Rita (Russ Fagerstrom) Couillard, Alice (Mark) Bishop and Kristina (Rodney) Watkins; daughter-in-law Nancy Daniel-Green; son-in-law, Larry Lichterman; 31 grandchildren: Kevin Vogel, Kim (Perry) Lichon, Kelly (Glenn) Walters, Kathy (Tre' Coleman) Merrick, Kerry (Charles) Wilm, Ellen (Brian) Wittwer, Katie (Chris) Dudley, Molly (Jerome) Trom, Abbey Daniel-Green, Sarah (Aaron) Timm, Roger (Samantha Stevens) Green III, Heather (Chris) Delaney, Casey McGhee, Christopher (Mary) Carlson, Jessa Green, Anna Coenen, Bekka Coenen, Leah Coenen, Emma Coenen, Lynn Lichterman, Ted Lichterman, Steven Lichon, Spencer Lichon, Sawyer Lichon, Amanda Couillard (Grant Schumann), Andrew Couillard, Dale Bishop, Abigail Bishop, Courtney Watkins and Isaiah Watkins; 20 great-grandchildren: Jeremy (Tiffinie) Vogel, Alex Lichon, Robin Lichon, Justin Walters, Tyler Walters, Grant Walters, Kaelyn Merrick, Jayson Coleman, Megan Wittwer, Lauren Wittwer, Madison Dudley, Dylan Dudley, Alden Timm, Silas Timm, Roger Green IV, Beatrice Green, Amber Delaney, Austin Delaney and Autumn Delaney; great-great-grandchild, Ashley Vogel; brother John Marx; niece Colette Patton, brother-in-law Clark (Hazel) Green; and sisters-in-law Mary Green and Margaret Green.
    Angie was preceded in death by a son, Tom Daniel-Green, a daughter, Betty Lichterman, and a grandson, Ned Green.
    Friends may visit the family at Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel, 606 N. Oneida St., Thursday, May 31 from 4 to 8 p.m. Praying of the Rosary will be held at 4 p.m., and the VFW service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friends may also visit Friday, June 1 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette St., from 10 a.m. until the time of the Resurrection Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment will be held at Highland Memorial Park.
    A memorial fund has been established in lieu of flowers.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Cherry Meadows Hospice.

    Angela "Angie" Rose Green, age 90, of Appleton, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 1, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Appleton. Friends may visit at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and directly at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Praying of the Rosary will take place at the funeral chapel on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. and a VFW service will be at 6:30 p.m. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.

    Ronald (Ron/RC) Charles Green, Appleton, WI age 71, passed away Thursday evening Dec. 1, 2016. So my hubby of nearly 49 years left his pain behind for his well earned Peace. As author of my husband's Obit I'' say "Love of my Life" sounds corny, but my Adult life at age 23 began when I met my soon to be hubby. We married March 16, 1968 at Saint Pius X Parish, Appleton. Ron's Funeral will be conducted by Deacon Rick Simon of St. Pius and Reverend Nicholas Hatch of my First Congregational Church. Ron was born during a Marshfield snow storm Jan 2, 1945 to parents Roger Clark Green and Angela Rose (Marx) Green. He was raised in Marshfield as second oldest of 12 children (3 brothers and 8 sisters). He graduated from Columbus Catholic High School 1945. Ron joined the Navy between his Junior and Senior year of HS. After graduation he was a Medic on the USS Hornet based out of Long Beach, California during Vietnam era. Between Active and Reserve duty his Honorable Discharge was after 14 years. After becoming a Draftsman at School in Milwaukee he was recruited at Collins Radio, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 1969 he was a Draftsman for Kimberly Clark in Neenah. Once his wife Mary Ellen completed her nurses training to become an RN in 1972 Ron returned to school at Fox Valley Tech in Sales and Marketing. His first Sales job at JJ Keller. Then recruited by Ling Products (Banta Co.) where he was Sales Manager for food service Division for 24 years. Once he left the corporate world he enjoyed his own Promotional Products Business RCG Enterprises to present time. A neighborhood friend appointed Ron as Calumet County Supervisor and he's been re-elected ever since. A Board Member who sat next to Ron at meetings recalls how proud Ron was of his two huge accounts in Shawano at Twigs Beverage and Radco Co. As a Salesman Ron had "the gift of gab", the firmest handshake, recalled peoples names and had direct eye contact making him connect on a fun and professional level. His love of Golf brought him many trophies and contributed to many Charities. He bonded with friends and grandkids fishing and Bowling. He also loved driving his grand children wherever they needed to go or to their various activities, including driving to Minnesota for a Special event on Veteran's day 2016.
    Ron was preceded in death by his brother Thomas (Nancy) Daniel-Green, Sister Betty (Larry) Lichterman, nephew Ned Green, his parents. Aunts and Uncles.
    He's survived by his wife Mary Ellen (Cornelius) Green; the Pride and Joy of our daughters Ellen (Brian) Wittwer, Appleton and Katie (Chris) Dudley, Oronoco, MN, Grandchildren Megan and Lauren Wittwer, Madison and Dylan Charles Dudley. Plus 9 of the original Dozen: Gerri (David) Ayers, Florida; Skipp (Judy) Green, Maine; Virginia (James) McGhee, Madison; Norbert Green, Appleton; Angela (John) Coenen, Dale; God daughter Marilyn (Mark) Lichon, Green Bay; Rita (Russel) Fagerstrom, Allouez; Alice (Mark) Bishop, Appleton and Kristina (Rodney) Watkins, Appleton, Godson Cousin Tony Patton, Niece God daughter Jessa Green plus 54 Nieces and Nephews to present.
    A Memorial Fund is being established for Veterans or charity of your choice.

PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH 500 West Marquette St. Appleton on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m with a one hour visitation prior to Liturgy. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park with Military Honors.

    Lichterman, Elizabeth Ann "Betty"
    Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Lichterman, age 50, of Appleton, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at Cherry Meadows surrounded by her family after a one-year courageous battle with cancer. Betty was born on October, 14, 1957, in Marshfield, to Angela (Marx) Green and the late Roger C. Green. She attended St. Pius X Catholic Church Grade School and graduated from Xavier High School in 1975. Betty was a 1980 graduate of the Fox Valley Technical School of Nursing. She then worked as an LPN at Appleton Medical Center for 27 years, an avocation she truly enjoyed as well as the love and companionship of her coworkers at AMC. She was considered a "favorite nurse" to many cardiac patients. Betty was well-known for her performances in Christmas Stars at Xavier High School. More recently she sang and acted in the ThedaCare Follies. Betty loved the stage, especially to benefit charity.
    She married Larry Lichterman on March 1, 1985, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Appleton. They were blessed with a daughter Lynn, born on April 4, 1991, and a son, Ted, born on November 18, 1994. Her family was indeed the love of her life, and rightfully, a source of pride, joy and peace.
    Betty is survived by her husband and children; her mother, Angela Green, Appleton; her brothers: Ron (Mary Ellen) Green, Appleton; Skipp (Judy) Green, Maine; Norb Green, Appleton; her sister-in-law, Nancy Daniel-Green; her sisters: Gerri (David) Ayers, Florida; Ginny (Jim) McGhee, Madison; Angie (John) Coenen, Dale; Marilyn (Mark) Lichon, Green Bay; Rita Couillard, Appleton; Alice (Mark) Bishop, Appleton; and Kristina (Rodney) Watkins, Appleton. Betty was Godmother to some and aunt to dozens of nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her parents-in-law, Lynn and Iva Lichterman, Appleton; and her sister-in-law, Lisa (Tim) Kaderabek, and their two daughters, Howards Grove.
    Betty was preceded in death by her father, Roger C. Green in 1993; her brother-in-law, Gerald Lichterman in 1997; her brother, Thomas Daniel-Green in 1998; and her nephew Ned Green in 2001.
    The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2008, at ST PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 West Marquette Street, Appleton, with Fr. Thomas J. Farrell officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
    Betty's family wish to send their heartfelt gratitude to the St. Pius X parish family for their love and reinforcement of her faith. Also, many thanks to her dear family, friends and neighbors, the staffs at the Martha Seikman Oncology Clinic, at Appleton Medical Center and Cherry Meadows.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Betty's name.
