    Obituary:
    Arno O. Pagel, age 99, of Chilton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at the Calumet Medical Center with his family by his side. Arno was born September 30, 1910, in the Town of Charlestown at the Pagel Homestead to the late Herman and Emma (Kind) Pagel. Arno was a lifelong member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ where he was baptized, confirmed, married and served on the church council. Arno married Marion K. Paulsen on December 28, 1944. The couple farmed together on the Pagel Homestead until 1990 at which time they built a home in Chilton. Arno and Marion enjoyed spending time with their family and friends, traveling, gardening and playing cards. Marion preceded Arno in death January 12, 2007, after 62 years of Marriage. Arno moved to the Chilton Care Center in August of 2009.
    Arno is survived by two daughters: Joyce (Thomas) Sievert, Neenah; Janet (John) Andrews, Neenah; two grandchildren: Pamela (Darrell) Ducklow, Johnson Creek; Anthony Sievert, Madison; a great-grandchild, Cole Ducklow; step-grandchildren: David (Honor) Andrews, Hayley (Stephen) Andrews-Davies; and five step-great-grandchildren: Sam, Emily, Nathan, Madienne Rose, and Finnian, all of England. He is further survived by a brother, Herman Pagel; and two sisters-in-law: Vivian Pagel, Alice Horst; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; his father- and mother-in-law: Carl and Minnie (Buettner) Paulsen; two brothers: John Pagel, Ted (Elva) Pagel Sr.; two sisters: Olive (Walter) Jaeger, three-year-old Adela; sisters-in-law: Grace Pagel, Ruth (Sturm) Pagel; and a brother-in-law, Henry Horst.
    Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Monday, February 1, 2010, at Ebenezer UCC (44 W. Washington) in Chilton with the Rev. Kathy Gloff officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until Noon on Monday, February 1, 2010, when the service will be held.
    The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Pastor Kathy Gloff, Dr. Gene Tipler, Dr. James Mariano, the Calumet County Homecare Staff, especially Karen Doerr and Sharon Adamski, the staff of the Calumet Medical Center and the Chilton Care Center for their devoted care and kindness.

    Sievert, Joyce M. Neenah
    Joyce M. Sievert, age 64, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on August 8, 1946 in Chilton, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Arno and Marion (Paulsen) Pagel. On July 27, 1968 she married Thomas Sievert in Chilton and the marriage was blessed with one daughter, one son, and nearly 43 wonderful years.
    Joyce was employed by the United Way for 20 years, starting as an accountant, and retiring this past March as the Vice President of Finance and Operations.
    Joyce loved to travel, was an avid reader, and she passed her love of reading down to her greatest joy in life, her grandson Cole. She belonged to many Bridge clubs and Ladies Enrichment Club. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Neenah, LWML and Altar Guild.
    She will be sadly missed by her husband, Thomas; her daughter, Pamela (Darrell) Ducklow; her son, Anthony Sievert; and grandson, Cole Ducklow; her sister, Janet (John) Andrews; sisters-in-law: Carol (Tony) Schueler, Kathy Sievert.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents-in-law: Edward and Josephine Sievert; and brother-in-law, Edward Sievert Jr.
    The Funeral Service for Joyce will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Ricky Schroeder officiating. Friends will be received on Monday evening, July 25, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, and again at the church on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Joyce will be laid to rest on her 43rd Wedding Anniversary in Hillside Cemetery in Chilton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
