    Obituary:
    Georgine Gengler, 85, of Appleton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, December 5, 2010, at Brewster Village. Georgine was born on February 28, 1925, to the late Joseph and Agnes (Alesch) Heimmermann. Her mother passed away when she was very young and she spent 10 years living with her grandparents until her father married the person she considered her mother Genevieve Werner. She liked to dance and met her husband at the Cinderella Ballroom. She married Lawrence Gengler on May 29, 1952, at St. Therese and together they lived and worked on a farm on the north side of Appleton. On the farm Georgine blossomed, learning to drive, cook and bake wonderful breads, cookies and apple pies, flower arranging, and even upholster furniture. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends and neighbors, especially sheepshead. Georgine was a member of St. Edward Mackville and the Christian Mothers Organization. She had many special times with her first grandson Jason. She always loved to visit people, had a kind and loving heart and always was thinking of others first.
    Georgine is survived by her daughter Sharon (George) Nemecek, Appleton; six grandchildren: Jason (Jacque) Nemecek, Katie Nemecek, Laurie (Nic) Davis, Mark Nemecek, Nick Nemecek, Derek (fiancee Jenny) Nemecek; seven great-grandchildren: Pearl and Zachery Nemecek, Gavin and Allison Courchesne, David and Georgia Davis, and Kendra Nemecek; brothers: Joseph (Mert) Heimmermann, Carl Heimmermann and David (Ruby) Heimmermann; a sister: Eunice (Ves) Vanden Hogen; brothers and sister-in-laws: Dan Van Boxtel, Ann Roeland, Rose Mueller, Helen Schommer, Jenny Gengler, and Rita (Pat) Roche, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
    Georgine was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, her sister Germaine, three infant brothers, and her sister-in-law, Sally (Bob) Schmidt, and brothers-in-law, John Roeland Merle Schommer and Clement Gengler and her mother- and father-in-law, Catherine and Andrew Gengler.
    A Mass of Christian Burial for Georgine will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at ST. EDWARD CATHOLIC CHURCH (Highway 47 N, Mackville) at 11 a.m. with Fr. Mark Vander Steeg and Fr. Justin Werner co-officiating. Burial will be in the St. Edward Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Wichmann Funeral Home and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the Church. A Prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Georgine's name.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Brewster Village especially those in the Lodge, and to Deb Ebel, and Fr Mark, Fr. Falk, and Fr. Werner for all the visits and prayers.
    Grandma we will always remember our special times and memories made together. You always had a strong spirit and we will always love you.

    Obituary:
    Joseph E. Heimmermann, age 86, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, King. Joe was born on April 25, 1926 in Appleton, son of the late Joseph Sr. and Agnes (Alesch) Heimmermann. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army overseas during World War II. On October 13, 1953, he was married to Myrtle Peters at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hollandtown. For most of his career, he worked as a pressman at Banta Corportation in Menasha.
    Joe is survived by his loving wife, Myrtle; his son, Mark (Sharon) Heimmermann, and their sons, Matthew and Luke; a sister, Eunice (Sylvester) Vanden Hogen; two brothers, Carl Heimmermann and David (Ruby) Heimmermann; a brother-in-law, Daniel Van Boxtel; Chuck (Ann) Peters; and Ethel Overesch. He was further preceded in death by his step-mother, Genevieve Heimmermann; two sisters, Georgene (Lawrence) Gengler, and Germaine Van Boxtel; and a sister-in-law, Lucy Heimmermann; Marlene and Ted Brunette, and Vernon Overesch.
    A Mass of Christian Burial for Joe will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 E. Lourdes Dr., Appleton, with Fr. Don Zuleger officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. Interment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly.
