    Pocan, Delores M., Nee: Eskofski
    Delores Mary Pocan, age 87, went home into the loving arms of the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2012. She was born in Menasha on September 30, 1925, the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Schwichtenberg) Bayer. Delores went to St. Mary School in Menasha. On November 3, 1945, she married the love of her life, Raymond Eskofski. They enjoyed twenty years of marriage until his passing on August 23, 1966. Delores later married Nels Pocan on May 2, 1969. They were married thirty-nine years until his passing on December 29, 2008.
    Delores will always be remembered for her caring, loving, selfless nature. She had an amazing sense of humor that always brought a smile to your face. Delores enjoyed crocheting, babysitting her grandchildren and had a love for animals. She enthusiastically made afghans and dishcloths for the church Bazaars. Helping and spending time with friends and family was a priority in Delores' life. She also loved playing cards and morning coffee clutches. Eating popcorn was a family tradition for her at any time of day. Delores was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha. Her faith was extremely important to her. She was a devout Christian and Catholic who practiced her faith through prayer, attending Mass and lighting vigil lights.
    Delores is lovingly survived by her children: Tony (Lollie) Eskofski of Michigan, Susan (Richard) Liebhauser of Menasha, William (Carol) Eskofski of Neenah, Debra (Robert) Patton of Appleton, David Pocan of Appleton, Kathy Pocan of Menasha; grandchildren: Tony Jr., Troy, Terry, James, Tara, Heather, Neely, Nathan, Dana, Taylor, Marques, Lindsay, Carla; great-grandchildren: Keerstyn, Cassandra, Brooke, Alex, Nyla, Tyler, Jayden, Katie, Will, Korbin and special friend, Mora Beyer.
    Delores is preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Pocan; son, Michael Pocan; grand-daughter, Linda; brother, Robert Bayer and her sister, Jeanette Koester.
    Delores' family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all the staff at Rennes Health and Rehabilitation for all their love, care and support for Delores.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Friends will be received for visitation at the church from 9:30am until the time of Mass.
    We miss you Mom. You'll always have a special place in our hearts.
