    Obituary:
    Margaret "Peg" Schwalbach, age 93, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 29, 2016, at St. Paul Villa in Kaukauna. Margaret was born in Darboy on March 11, 1923, the daughter of the late Frank and Hannah (Van Vorst) Fischer. She lived in the Appleton area her entire life except 20 years she spent in Winneconne. Margaret was united in marriage to Eugene Schwalbach on September 23, 1944. The couple shared almost 41 years together until Eugene's passing on July 26, 1985. Margaret was employed at Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 41 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Appleton, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe society.
    She is survived by her sister-in-law: Julitta Schwalbach, Menasha; four nephews: Glen (Judy) Schwalbach, Town of Rockland, Ronald (Darlene) Schwalbach, Fond du Lac, Peter (Julie) Schwalbach, Neenah, and Kenneth (Kathie) Schwalbach, Menasha; grandnieces and grandnephews: Amy Schwalbach, Green Bay, Brian Schwalbach, Franklin, Sara (Tim) Chapin, Fond du Lac, Paul (Chris) Schwalbach, Fond du Lac, Ryan Schwalbach, St. Paul, MN, and Chad Schwalbach, Stevens Point. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister (Sister) Emily Fischer, two brothers-in-law: Robert and Kenneth Schwalbach, and sister-in-law Hildegarde (Joseph) Ely.
    A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, May 7, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St., Appleton, with Father Brian Wideman officiating. Friends may visit in the Sacred Heart Room at church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to Sacred Heart Parish or Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross, 3110 Nicolet Dr. Green Bay, WI 54311.
