    Esther Ann Clegg, 89, Hortonville, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at her home. Esther was born on Oct. 6, 1921, in Ellington Township, daughter of the late Conrad and Philomena (Krudwig) Becher. She was united in marriage to Harold Clegg on June 12, 1945, in Greenville, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 1967. They were blessed with four sons and four daughters during their marriage.
    Harold and Esther started the family farm in 1945 and she continued operating it after the death of her husband. Esther was a loving Mother and Grandmother who enjoyed life to the fullest. She took a lot of pride in her 1972 Monte Carlo, mowing her huge yard, planting flowers, cooking the best homemade meals and baking her famous peanut squares and pies. She enjoyed playing cards, going for rides, especially out to eat at Romy's, and a good polka, teaching many of us how to dance around her kitchen table.
    She was an active member of Sts. Peter and Paul's Christian Mothers since 1945 and prayed her Rosary daily. She never missed a Friday night fish fry at church since they started. She was also a member of the Commercial Club of Hortonville, and a charter member of Grandview Golf Course.
    Esther is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Ronnie) Willenkamp, Hortonville; Carol (Fran) Schmelzel, Hortonville; Patricia Weyers, Fremont; Janice (Kenneth) Ebben, Greenville; sons, Dennis (Kerry) Clegg, David Clegg, James Clegg and Kevin S. Clegg, all of Hortonville; one precious sister, Cedella Schmitt, Appleton; 16 grandchildren, Rhonda (Brian) Parker, Lisa (Tim) Lautenschlager, Tara (Cory) Everts, Trina (Mikal) Ramadan, Julie (Jesse) Wagner, Melanie Clegg, Amanda (Chad) Valentyne, Alice (Mark) Kilsdonk, John (Melissa) Clegg, Sally (Brian) Rathsack, Molly Weyers, Danielle Weyers, Rachel (Nate) Kroger, Emily Ebben, Laura Ebben and Don Ebben; 18 great-grandchildren, Tawny and Cole Parker, Kelly and Kayla Lautenschlager, Kendra and Carly Everts, Mikal, Mya, Ava and Lydia Ramadan, Claire Wagner and Wagner twins due in March, Norah Valentyne, Alyssa and Joshua Kilsdonk, Ella, Harris and Miles Rathsack and Mason Kroger; sisters-in-law, Arlene Becher, Ginger Timm, Ethel Madden, Lola Clegg; and brother-in-law, Garrett Clegg; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and close neighbors.
    In addition to her husband, was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Kroeger, Regina Seegers, Florence Schueler; brothers, Ralph and Gordon Becher; and a son in-law, Donald Weyers.
    The Funeral Mass for Esther will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Hortonville, with Father James Feely officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at the CHURCH from 3 to 8 p.m. A 7:30 p.m. prayer service will be held. Visitation will also be held a the CHURCH on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
    The family would like to thank Dr. Lathrop-Capaul, the nurses and staff, Jan and the Anti Coag Clinic, Hortonville First Responders, the Outagamie County Sheriff's Department and her granddaughter, Rhonda Parker, for her special care.
    Thank you Mom for all your love and support. You have left us with so many wonderful memories. With All Our Love, Your Children, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

    Cedella (Cedi) M. Schmitt (Halloran) Becher (maiden) 88, Appleton died after a short illness on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Kindred Hearts, her new home in Greenville, which she really enjoyed for the past 3 month.
    Cedella was born on June 8, 1924 in Ellington Township, daughter of the late Conrad and Philomena (Krudwig) Becher. She was united in marriage to Milo (Mike) Halloran on Sept 6, 1948, in Greenville, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1964. They were blessed with two daughters during their marriage. Cedella then met and married Jacob (Jake) Schmitt on Aug 23, 1968. He preceded her in death on Dec 3, 1986.
    Cedella was a loving Mother, Grandmother and special Aunt to many. She enjoyed playing cards, going out for lunch, shopping, taking care of her flowers and decorating her yard and house for every holiday.
    Cedella is survived by her daughters, Terrie (Mike) Plamann, Hortonville; Kathy Halloran, Appleton; three grandchildren, Michelle (Joe) Bruss, Amanda Plamann (special friend Kyle Wege) and Michael Baumann (special friend Christina Londo); sisters-in-law, Arline Becher and Ginger (Becher) Timm; special friend of many years, Earl Grelson and his family, Lory, Scott, Melanie and Zach Saunders, Dave and Deb Bazile, and Kevin and Wendy Grelson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors.
    Cedella was also preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy (Floyd) Kroeger, Regina (John) Seegers, Florence (Ed) Schueler, Esther (Harold) Clegg; brothers, Ralph and Gordon Becher.
    The funeral mass for Cedella will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:30AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Appleton with Fr. Thomas J. Farrell officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Valley Funeral Home from 4-7PM. A prayer service will be held at 7:00PM. Visitation will also be held at the church on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 10:00AM until the time of service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
    The family would like to thank the caretakers at Kindred Hearts, Greenville for their tender and loving care.
    We love you Mom and Grandma.

    Dolores M. Peterson, age 73, of Allenville died Monday, August 20, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
    She was born July 11, 1939, in Greenville, to the late Edwin and Florence (Becher) Schueler. Dolores was a 1957 graduate of Appleton High School. On October 20, 1962, she married Roy Peterson at St. Mary's Church in Menasha. Dolores and Roy lived in Appleton and Neenah before moving to Allenville (town of Vinland) in 1971. For a few years she had worked for National Foods Grocery Store. Dolores played and taught lessons on the accordion, piano, and guitar. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne, and its Family Life. Dolores was also involved in the Salvatorian Missions of New Holstein, Wisconsin. For a period of time, Dolores assisted and substituted when needed at Winneconne Elementary School in the special needs classes for mentally or physically disabled children. She was a special and caring advocate for her son Paul and other children with disabilities.
    Dolores enjoyed bowling, camping, reading, rummaging, antiquing, listening to polka and old country music and going out for fish frys. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as many beloved family pets.
    Dolores is survived by her husband, Roy Peterson of Allenville, and they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this October. She will be missed by her six children and their families, Rosemary (Robert) Roth, of Omro, and their children, Bobby, Terri, Laura, and Michelle; Elizabeth (Thomas) Kelling, of Quincy, Illinois, and their daughters, Clarice and Elaine; Ray Peterson (Patty Winkler), of Larsen; Bonnie (Todd) Nagler, of Butte des Morts, and their daughters, Corrie and Samantha; Paul Peterson, of Neenah; Molly Peterson (Scott Bellile), of Neenah, and his son, Tyler. She is also survived by one brother and two sisters, Edwin "Butch" (Mary) Schueler; Virginia (Duaine) Chenier; Karen (Jim) Langedyke; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
    Along with her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by twin sons, Roger and Rodney Peterson.
    A funeral visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012, from 9:00 to11:00 a.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. Following the visitation, there will be a Requiem Mass, with Fr. Hector Bolduc officiating. Burial will be in the Allenville Cemetery.

    Becher, Randall
    Randall Ralph Becher, 51, passed away on April 16, 2009, in Tucson, AZ.
    Randy was born February 4, 1958 in Hortonville, WI, son of Gordon and Virginia Becher. He grew up and worked on the family farm with his seven brothers and sisters. Randy attended St. Mary's Grade School in Greenville and Hortonville High School. In 1976, he joined the Marines and was stationed at Camp Lejeune. After his discharge he returned to the farm.
    On April 16, 1989, Randy left home, spending seven years in Minneapolis, MN, and the last 13 years in Tucson, AZ.
    On March 2, 2009, Randy was diagnosed with Melanoma. He received excellent care at University Physicians and Odyssey HealthCare, a hospice in Tucson.
    Randy is survived by his mother, Virginia and step-father David Timm, Seymour. Sisters and brothers: Sharon Becher, Mayville; Conrad (Kris) Becher, Appleton; Jesse Becher, Hortonville; Bonnie (Charles) Lutzewitz, Appleton; Julie Becher, Greenville; Dorothy Becher, Rockville, MD and Lance Becher, Hortonville: 14 nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Gordon; nephew Bryce Rydberg and his grandparents.

    b>Wolfgram, John R. "Wolfy"John R. "Wolfy" Wolfgram, of Kaukauna, age 24, passed away unexpectedly from a snowmobile accident in Mattoon, WI, on March 1, 2007. He was born in Appleton on May 19, 1982, the son of Timothy and Barbara (Becher) Wolfgram. He graduated from Kaukauna High School and was an athlete in the wrestling program, earning honors in individual and state competition. John graduated from Fox Valley Tech. completing his apprenticeship and certification. He was employed with Suburban Electric. John loved to be outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved motor sports including ATVing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and dirt track racing. He also loved NASCAR and camping, along with many other interests. John is survived by his parents, Barbara and Tim and his special friend, Julie Hielke; John's special friend Amanda Kroner and their unborn son, of Kimberly; brother, Michael Wolfgram and special friend Tommy Kimbrell of Appleton; sister, SSGT Ann (James) Mitchell who serves in the Air Force in South Dakota; aunt, Nancy (Marty) Kerns of Appleton; and grandmother, Arlene Becher of Greenville. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Pat and Jim Wolfgram and Ralph Becher; and an uncle, Rich Becher. The funeral liturgy will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, N2385 Municipal Dr., Greenville, with Fr. Mark Vander Steeg officiating. Friends will be received at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Monday, March 5, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in John's name is being established for his son. John, you did not leave this world alone. You took a big piece of all of our hearts with you. We will forever miss you. Until we meet again. Your family.
