Obituary:
Roy P. Forstner, 79, Seymour, Wis., passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday afternoon, April 4, 2004, at his home. He was born Feb. 22, 1925, in Seymour, the son of the late Charles and Hattie Forstner. On Aug. 12, 1950, he was united in marriage to Joyce A. Drier in Seymour. She preceded him in death on July 4, 1999. Roy retired from Morning Glory Dairy, where he worked as a mechanic for 37 years. He also worked for Green Bay Food Company, Seymour Transfer Lines and he was also a school bus driver for Huettl Transfer. He and his wife farmed in the Town of Osborn where they raised steers, pigs, and Spitz-Husky dogs. He enjoyed gardening "on a grand scale."
He is survived by his children, Peter (Robin) Forstner, Tilleda; Diana (Les) Helms, Seymour; Ricky Forstner, Suamico; Cindy (David) Baker, Kansas; Susan (Terry) Seely, and John Forstner, all of Nichols; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Ella Smith, Green Bay; and his special friend and significant, Val Jean Quaintance.
Roy was preceded by his wife, Joyce; one sister and one brother.
A private family service was held. The Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family.

Roy married Drier, Joyce A. 12 Aug 1950. Joyce was born 3 Feb 1929; died 4 Jul 1999. [Group Sheet]
