    Obituary:
    Otto, Leona Age 88, of New London, died Saturday Feb. 26, 2005 at Riverside Hospital in Waupaca. She was born on January 16, 1917 in Shiocton, daughter of the late Gustav & Ida (Conradt) Scherning. On November 14, 1936 she married August (Owie) Otto. They farmed for many years in the Shiocton area before moving to New London. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage before August passed away in 1992. Leona?s occupation was homemaker although she had various jobs over the years, including local restaurants, Hortonville Toy Factory, and cleaning offices. She and August also owned the Pantry Restaurant in New London for several years before selling it to their daughter. The love of her life was her family, with her favorite past time being cooking and baking some very festive meals which we all enjoyed. She also enjoyed gardening and playing cards.
    She is survived by two sons; Russell (Diane) Otto, New London; Gary (Boni) Otto, Homewood, IL; one daughter; Karen (Bill) Baehr, Kaukauna; one son-in-law, Chet Lyon, New London. Also 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Besides her husband and parents, Leona was preceded in death by her loving daughter Debbie Lyon in 2002, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Elsie (Charlie) Frederick, Emma (Wilbur) Jeffers, Alma (Ed) Worm. Also a sister-in-law Anne Powell and two infant sons.
    The Funeral Service for Leona will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday March 2, 2005 at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in the Turney Hill Cemetery.
    A Memorial Fund has been established.
    When God created Leona, she was precious like no other. We, her children, who love her, were blessed to call her Mother.
    The family would like to thank the CNA?s of Weyauwega Health Care Center for their loving care these past two years.

    Russell R. Otto Jr.New London, age 32 passed away on May 15, 2005 as the result of a trucking accident in Erlanger Kentucky. Russell was born on November 11, 1972 in New London son of Russell and Diane (Kopitzke) Otto. Russell was currently employed at Ort Trucking in New London and had held semi-driving jobs with various other trucking firms in the area for many years.
    He is survived by a daughter Sammantha Otto, Kaukauna; a step-daughter, Dessiree Allen, Kaukauna; three sisters: Kay (Gary) Swick, Kimberly; Karin (Vernon) Schirpke, Weyauwega; and Kristine (Shannon) Glenn, Taiwan; nieces and nephews: Heather, Holly, Ashley, Austin, Bailie, Autumn, Brice and Hailie.
    Funeral services for Russell will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. William Favorite officiating. Burial will be in the Northport Ostrander Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
    In the garden of our lives, Russ was our Son-shine.
    Now heaven has taken on a brighter glow.
