    Van De Hei, Donald G. "Don"Donald G. "Don" Van De Hei, 60, Denmark, passed away on January 25, 200 3, at his home after a long battle with cancer. His family was at his sid e. Don was born on September 29, 1942, to Clarence and Helen (Heezen) V an De Hei in Green Bay. He was a 1960 graduate of Preble High School. He s erved his country as a member of the US Air Force. On Aug. 1, 1970, he mar ried Kathy Le Fevre at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Green Ba y. He was currently a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pine Grov e. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a volunt eer at the Denmark Senior Center. Don liked to play Yahtzee and card s. He was also known for his sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. He en joyed woodworking, the outdoors and all sports. He especially loved footba ll and was an avid Packers fan.Don will be sadly missed by his wife Kathy, mother Helen, 3 children, Fabi an (fianc Becky) Van De Hei, Denmark; Joe (fiance Tammy) Van De Hei, Howar d; Amy Van De Hei, Denmark; one grandchild Dalton; eight brothers and sist ers, Betty (Dick) Freitag, Green Bay; Terry (Daryl) Hoefs, Montello; Bi ll (Maggie) Van De Hei and Jerry (Sue) Van De Hei both Green Bay; Tom V an De Hei, Ledgeview; Mary Stahl, Green Bay; Glen (Jackie) Van De Hei, Led geview; and Steve (Sharon) Van De Hei, Green Bay; eight brothers-in-law a nd sisters-in-law Chris (Greyson) Blair, Denmark; Laura (Jim) Buresh, N ew Franken; Mona (Joe) Buresh, Green Bay; Louise (John) Potts, De Pere; An nette (Randy) Jensen and Steve (Janet) Le Fevre both Green Bay; Josy (Ji m) Wavrunek and Mary (Frank) Buresh both Denmark; as well as many niece s, nephews and other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his father Clarence; one brother Joseph V an De Hei; a nephew who was also his godson Jim Freitag; and his mother-in -law and father-in-law Roger and Bernice Le Fevre.Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason, 468-4111, on M onday from 3-9 pm. Parish Prayer Service Monday at the funeral home at 7 p m. Visitation will continue at the church Tuesday from 9-10:30 am. Ma ss of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, County Hwy. R, Pi ne Grove on Tuesday at 10:30 am with the Rev. Ralph Merkatoris officiatin g. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.The family would like to express a thank you to Unity Hospice. In li eu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.

    Van De Hei, Joseph A. “Joe”Joe was born on June 18, 1974, in Green Bay to Donald and Kathy (Le Fevr e) Van De Hei. He was a 1992 graduate of Denmark H.S. On May 3, 2003, he m arried the former Tammy Kirby at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pine Grov e. Joe owned and operated Nature’s Groomer Lawn Care and Landscaping. J oe loved to plow snow. Joe loved to spend time with his family and especia lly loved spending time with Dalton. He was a wonderful dad. In fact, no m atter where Joe went he loved being with children. He was also an avid out doorsman who loved hunting with his dog Rue, camping, 4-wheeling, snowmobi ling and boating.Joe will be sadly missed by his wife, Tammy, his mother Kathy, one broth er Fabian (Becky) Van De Hei and their son Kadin, who was Joe’s godson, o ne sister Amy Van De Hei, all of Denmark; paternal grandmother Helen V an De Hei, Green Bay; father-in-law and mother-in-law Lyle and Diane Kirb y, brother-in-law Nick Kirby and his children Laura and Wyatt, sister-in-l aw Wendy (Kirby) Peterson, Chicago; as well as many other relatives and fr iends.He was preceded in death by his father Donald, his paternal grandfather Cl arence Van De Hei and his maternal grandparents Roger and Bernice Le Fevre .
