    J. N. FOX DIES ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON
    VICTIM OF PNEUMONIA -- FUNERAL WILL BE HELD TOMORROW AFTERNOON
    J. N. Fox, who had been seriously ill at his home on Second Avenue, for more than a week, died Sunday afternoon. The direct cause of his demise was pneumonia. For the past year Mr. Fox had been in very poor health and his vitality was at the lowest ebb.
    Mr. Fox is survived by his wife, Viola R., and two children, George R. and Eugene G., both of this city. There are also five grandchildren, Ramona, Randall, Winneta, Helen and Everett Fox, and eight brothers and sisters, Mrs. Jennie Kimball, of Pasadena, Cal., Mrs. C. B. Ballard and Mrs. W. R. Johnston, Henry D., Alvin J., Charles D., and Edward H., Appleton, and Albert T. Fox, Ashland.
    Mr. Fox was born in Oak Grove, Dodge county, in 1848, and he moved to this city with his parents while yet in his teens. Except for a few years prospecting and doing contract work for railroads and mills in the western states and in Mexico, his life was spent here where his many good qualities won for him a large circle of friends. For the past few years he had retired from all active work and devoted himself to the affairs of his farm.
    The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his home at "The Pines, " on Second avenue. Dr. John Faville will officiate.

    EUGENE FOX OFFICIAL OF WIRE CLOTH FIRM HERE PASSES AWAY
    Secretary-Treasurer of Central Company Dies In Hospital Wednesday
    Eugene Fox, 48, secretary - treasurer of the Central Wire Cloth company, passed away at a local hospital yesterday afternoon. He had been at the hospital a week. Sometime ago Mr. Fox suffered from an extended spell of illness, but apparently recovered. His death comes as a distinct shock to his many friends, The death of Mr. Fox is the third in the family circle since last February when his son died, followed a month later by Mr. Fox's mother, who made her home with the family here.
    Mr. Fox came to Green Bay from Appleton about 12 years ago. He was a deacon in the First Baptist church and active in the church circles. The body is at Schauer and Schumacher's Funeral home and funeral services will be held from there tomorrow at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. Fred W. Field officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
    Surviving Mr. Fox are his widow and one son, Everett, at home and one brother, George of Three Oaks, Mich.
