    Obituary:
    Mrs. Kathryn J. Voights, age 80, of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, November 13th, 2008, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Mrs. Voights was born in Seymour, WI, on November 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Gladys (Johnston) Land. On Feb 1, 1947, she married Philip H. Voights in Kaukauna. He preceded her in death on Aug 12, 2008. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Kaukauna. Kathryn worked as a nurse at Kaukauna Hospital and was a crossing guard in Kaukauna for over 15 years. Kathryn and Phil enjoyed, fishing and camping trips with their family to California, New Mexico, Florida, Pennsylvania and Washington DC. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
    She is survived by her daughters: Mury (Richard) Forseth, Waupaca; Linda (Keith) Riehl, Waupaca; Janette (Darnel) Laabs, Hortonville; sons: Philip (Marysue) Voights Jr., Waupaca; Conrad Voights, Clovis, New Mexico; David (Wendy) Voights, Kaukauna; Daniel (Betty) Voights, Austin, Texas; Sister, Betty Myers, Bloomington, Illinois; brother, Eugene (Mary) Land, Kaukauna. Twenty one grandchildren and nine great grandchildren survive. She is further survived by nieces and nephews.
    Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband: Philip; daughter, Barbara Kirce, brothers: Darrell Land, Duane Land; sister, Donna (Land) Clifford.
    Funeral Service will be held at First Assembly of God Church, Waupaca, Wisconsin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18th, with Reverend Bob Bohn officiating. Interment will be in the Spencer Lake Memorial Park in the Town Lind, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held Tuesday 11-1 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Waupaca.
    The family would like to thank the staff on 2nd floor at Theda Clark Hospital, Theda Care Hospice and Rennes Rehab in Appleton for the excellent care provided to Kathryn and her family during her illness.

    Darrel Don Land, 74, Waupaca, WI, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, was called to Jesus' side on May 7, 2007. Darrel died peacefully with his family by his side. Born November 27, 1932, in Clintonville, WI, to the late Victor and Gladys (Johnston) Land. Darrel grew up in the Kaukauna, WI, area, later moving to Neenah, WI. Raising his family, and working most of his adult life at the Neenah Foundry, until he retired, later moving to Waupaca, WI. Darrel, an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Darrel, instilled his love of people and his zest for life in all who had the good fortune to make his acquaintance. He was a true "Packer" fan.
    Darrel is survived by children: Patsy (Randy) St John, Kingsford, MI; Randy Land, Appleton, WI; Susan Handler, Neenah, WI; Vicky (Rick) Croteau, Clermont, FL; Tammy (Mark) Stritch, Neenah, WI; 13 grandchildren: Erin Michaels, Amanda St John, Timothy St John, Christopher Land, Alyssa St John, Jonathan Handler, Elizabeth Stritch, Sean Croteau, Amy Handler, Sarah Stritch, Jennifer Handler, Chelsea Croteau, and Lisa Stritch; nine great-grandchildren; sisters: Kathryn (Phillip) Voights, Kaukauna, WI; Betty Meyers, Bloomington, IL; brothers: Duane (Jo) Land, Chickamauga, GA; Eugene (Mary) Land, Kaukauna, WI. Also survived by numerous sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Victor and Gladys (Johnston) Land, wife, Adeline (Reitz) Land, sister, Donna (Land) Clifford, and a sister-in-law, Sandy Land.
    A celebration of his life will be on Friday, May 11, 2007, at 2:30 p.m., at the First Assembly of God Church in Waupaca, WI. Reverend Bob Bohn will officiate. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Burial will be at Spencer Lake Memorial Park in the Town of Lind at a later date. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
    The family would also like to say thank-you to the staff at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca and the staff in the CCU at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. A special thank-you to our father's friend, Bob Griffith.
