Theodore's obituary appeared in the "Ladysmith News," from Ladysmith, Rusk County, Wisconsin on May 12, 1939:
"Theodore Newhouse, highly respected Rusk county citizen for the last 41 years, died at his home on East Lake avenue early on Monday morning, his death coming as the result of a short illness and the infirmities of old age. Deceased was 92 years of age at the time of his passing. Mr. Newhouse was born in Milwaukee October 17, 1847, where he grew to young manhood and then took up farming in Brown county. In 1877 he was married to Barbara Leonhard, who died five years later. In 1894 he was married the second time to Elizabeth Leonhard. The family moved to a farm near Loyal, where they resided until 1898, at which time they moved to Tony, and in 1926 Mr. Newhouse moved to Ladysmith, where he resided until the time of his death. Surviving relatives are the widow and three daughters, Mrs. Herman Decker and Mrs. Howard Merrill, and Mrs. Oscar Johnson; and seven sons, John of Tony, Frank and Barney, Peter, Grayslake, Ill., Edward, Marathon City, Joe, Antigo, and Harry, of Parker's Prairie, Minn. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. "Frank Nienhaus, 83, 522 N. State Street, died at 8 o'clock yesterday morn ing (1/14/1940) following a week's illness. Born November 1, 1856 at Hartf ord, Nienhaus lived on a farm at Freedom until 30 years ago when he mov ed to Appleton. He was a member of St. Joseph's church and of the Holy Na me society and St. Joseph's society of the church. Mr. and Mrs. Nienhaus w ere to have celebrated their sixty-first wedding anniversary Saturday. Sur vivors are the widow; five daughters, Mrs. Charles Radtke, Mrs. Melvin Gro otemont, Mrs. John Haug, Jr., and Mrs. Ernest Paltzer, Appleton; Mrs. Fra nk R. Appleton, Oneida; four sons, Peter, Appleton; Ted, Little Chute; Mik e, Isaar; Frank, Jr., Escanaba, Michigan; one sister, Mrs. Wenzel Heind l, Kaukauna; twenty-four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Al was bo rn Sept. 26, 1919, to Henry and Elizabeth Petrie Nienhaus in East Wrightst own (Greenleaf), Wis. On June 10, 1944, he married Dorothy J. Schmidt, t he daughter of Arthur and Anna Kuehl Schmidt, in Wrightstown, Wis. Albe rt and Dorothy dairy-farmed in the town of Rockland, Brown County, until m oving to De Pere in 1978. He continued in his love of "farming" by doing c ustom combining and working for Gold Dust Farms until retiring in 1999.Al is survived by his wife, Dorothy, residing at Santa Maria Nursing Ho me in Green Bay. He is survived by his son, Norman and his wife, Mary Elle n, Allouez; his daughters, Gail and Paul Genereau, Appleton; Gloria and R on Stellman, Addison, Ill.; and Loreen and her partner, Barbara, and the ir son, Jeremiah Guyes, New Franken. He is survived by his grandson, Ma rc Nienhaus and his wife, Chelsea; and two great-grandsons, Wyatt Allen a nd Nash Nolan, Allouez. Albert is further survived by two brothers, Ral ph and his wife, Ione, Crivitz; and Marvin, Green Bay, Wis.; and three sis ters, Rosemary and William Pranke, De Pere; Florence Beining and Bernice C lark, Greenleaf, Wis. Marion R. Schmidt (nee: Radtke), 97, passed away peacefully at her home in Appleton on Friday, January 15, 2016. Marion was born at home in Appleton on August 13, 1918 to the late Charles and Mary (Nienhaus) Radtke. She graduated from Appleton High School in 1936. Survivors include her six children: Charles, Kristine, James, Rodger (Marcy), Steven and Lisa; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She is also survived by two cousins, a nephew and niece and the many people that she has encouraged and helped over so many years. Her quick wit, kindness and feisty personality were an attraction for many. She fondly remembered the many years she worked at the telephone company. Togeth er they farmed in Oneida Township until their retirement in 1974. Orvil le represented the Town of Oneida on the Board of Education for the Freed om School District. He served as a director of the Freedom State Bank, pre sently known as Bank One, from 1960 to 1986. Orville was a charter memb er of the Freedom Lions Club. Lions International honored him with the dis tinguished Melvin Jones Fellowship Award for outstanding community servic e. Orville was a charter member and was granted a life-time honorary membe rship in the Knights of Columbus, Council 8061, Freedom. He was a memb er of the Freedom Golden Agers and a life-long member of St. Nicholas Cath olic Church, Freedom.

Schlimm, Mary Elizabe thMary E. "nee Appleton" Schlimm, 91, of rural Seymour, passed away Friday m orning, July 14, 2006. Her death occurred at the rural Appleton home of h er daughter and son-in-law, Fran and Jim Kieffer. Mary was surrounded by t hree generations of her family. Mary was born February 20, 1915, the daugh ter of the late Frank and Anna (Nienhaus) Appleton. She graduated from Fre edom High School and was a member of the first graduating class of the n ew school. She attended Oshkosh Normal School and graduated from Outagam ie County Normal School. Mary taught at the Elm Hill School, a one room sc hool, for several years. On August 24, 1938, Mary was united in marriage w ith Clarence H. Schlimm of Greenville, WI. The festive celebration was he ld under tents at the farm homesteaded by her parents, Frank and Anna Appl eton. After marriage, they farmed briefly in Greenville, moved to Applet on for a short time, then to the home farm in Oneida. Upon retirement of F rank and Anna in 1949, Mary and Clarence, with their children, farmed unt il their retirement in 1977. They celebrated 64 years of marriage togethe r. Clarence preceded her in death January of 2003. Mary was a spirited, in telligent woman, who faced joys and sorrows with faith in her God, hard-wo rk ethic and undaunted energy. She managed home and hearth while living wi th a lifetime of severe hearing loss. She and Clarence and their family fa ced many medical challenges. She loved vacationing at Lac du Lune, at La nd O'Lakes, Wis. The lodge there provided the perfect setting for the crea tion of wonderful memories through the decades, as the extended family int eracted in that lovely spot, which had been obtained by her father in t he 1930's. She inherited her father's storytelling skills, loved poetry, c ards, the Packers, Homemaker's Group and bowling. Mary was a long-time mem ber of St. Nicholas Congregation and visited parish shut-ins. She cherish ed her family, friends and neighbors. Robert J. "Bob" Appleton peacefully entered into eternal life on Saturday, May 15, 2010. Bob was born in the Town of Freedom, on Nov. 27, 1917, to Anna (Nienhaus) and Frank Appleton. He graduated from Freedom High School and attended St. Norbert College for three years. Bob married his high school sweetheart, June Behling.
In 1941, Bob and June moved to Oneida, where they owned and operated Appleton's Service and Repair and June's Drive-In. In 1968, they moved to Tucson, Ariz., for Bob's health. There they owned and operated The Lazy A Mobile Home Park until June's death in 1976.
Bob married Kay Vissers in 1976. She preceded him in death in 1998.
Bob followed the sun. He loved winters in Arizona with Bobby and Lynda. When he returned to Wisconsin, he looked forward to fishing at the LacDaLune or The Bay of Green Bay with Kathy, Duane, Woody and Rob. Bob loved to play cards and cribbage was his game.
To Bob, the month of June meant strawberries and October meant wild grapes. He loved berry picking with Mary Claire. Bob never met a stranger. He truly enjoyed visiting and socializing with people. He was a devout Catholic and had a particular love for the prayers of the Rosary.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Claire (George) Brucks; son, Francis Robert "Bob" (Lynda) Appleton; and daughter Catherine "Kathy" (Duane) Reha; grandchildren, Kelly J. (Terry "Woody") Witthuhn, Keith "Pete" (Jamie) Appleton, Renee (Rob) Greene, Richelle (Bob) Lingnofski, Kris (Ben) Chanek, Kim Smith and Kerry Appleton; great-grandchildren, Melissa Witthuhn, Brooke and Jacob Appleton, Allyson and Autumn Greene, and Ava Claire Lingnofski, Taylor and Jordan Chanek, Brandon Robert, Jacob, and Trinity Smith, and Paige Krislyn Appleton; a sister-in-law, Peggy Yadon; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob is further survived by his special friend, Evelyn Roffers. Bob will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary (Clarence) Schlimm; brother, Orville (Irene) Appleton; his wife, June; and their baby son, Harry Neil "Kelly"; his wife, Kay; and his son-in-law, Bruce J. Schroeder.

Joseph passed away of natural causes with his family by his side. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia, of 55 years and their six children, Peter (Elaine) of Sacramento; Tim (Mandi) of Gilbert, AZ; Tish (Frank) of Roselle, IL; Maria (Shawn) of McKinney; Mike (Donnette) of Mission Viejo, CA; Jackie (Jeff) of San Jose, CA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Joey (Pete); Andrew and Samantha (Tim); Katie, Cory, Kyle, and Emily (Tish); Shawn, Morgan, and Dani (Maria); Alisha and great-granddaughter, Aubreanna (Mike); Taylor, Lauren, and Cole (Jackie). Joe was born in Appleton, Wisconsin as the youngest of six children. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Rose, Elizabeth and Jeanne. He is preceded in death by his brother, John and sister, Margaret, and his parents, John and Elizabeth.
Joe attended St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI , but before he finished, he enlisted in the Army in 1953 and served in the 545th Quartermaster Service Company in the Korean War. Upon return, he graduated from Spencerian Business College in Milwaukee, WI. Joe then worked as a pharmaceutical sales rep in the Chicago area, owned a Coast to Coast Hardware store in Menomonee Falls, WI, and worked for Borden Dairy, in Albuquerque, NM. Joe volunteered with his wife and the Korean War Veterans for disabled veterans at the Dallas VA hospital. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan and owner of their stock.

Romuald Shorty Verboomen, 92, of Sturgeon Bay, died early Sunday morning at his home.
He was born February 7, 1917 in Kaukauna, the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Heindl) Verboomen. Following high school and two years at Salvatorian Seminary at St. Nazianz he graduated from St. Johns University in Collegeville, Minnesota with a B.S. in Philosophy. He was a weatherman and pilot during WWII in the Army Air Corps, and taught weather to pilots. He married Kathleen M. Willmett on May 26, 1942 in Junction City, Kansas. She preceded him in death on November 24, 1962 in Madison, Wisconsin.
Shorty did some farming in Kaukauna, and worked at the Institute of Paper Chemistry in Appleton. He worked in Sturgeon Bay as a engine specialist. After retiring in 1979, he taught engine repair at NWTC.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sturgeon Bay, the Knights of Columbus, and was a life member of the American Legion. He loved photography, film developing and printing, traveling, card playing, reading, hunting and fishing, taxidermy, and keeping history of residents of Orchard Valley Apartments.
Survivors include his two daughters, Kathleen Moller of Sturgeon Bay, Mary Burns of Tavares, Florida; grandchildren, Marc Frick, Adam (Marie) Burns; great-grandchildren, Daniel Burns, US Navy, Michael Burns; brother, Paul (Jane) Verboomen of Lakewood, WI, Carl (Linda) Verboomen of Wrightstown; sister-in-law, Roseann Verboomen; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday (December 1, 2009) at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Sturgeon Bay.

Carl Verboomen died peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 31. He was the youngest son of Mary (Heindl) and Andrew Verboomen. He was a life long member of St. Clare Church in Wrightstown. He was employed at Channel 5 as a transmitter engineer for 31 years, retiring in 1986. After retirement he drove school bus part time for Lamers Bus Service until 2001. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Post, 436, in Wrightstown. In 1967 he married Linda Moran at Resurrection Church in Green Bay. He enjoyed deer hunting, bowling, golfing, fishing, and time spent with family.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda, two children: daughter, Paula, (John Loew) in Pewaukee, WI, and son, Mark, at home. He is also survived by his grandson, Emmett Loew in Pewaukee; sister-in-law, Jane Verboomen, De Pere; brother-in-law, TJ (Kathy) Moran in Ojai, CA, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Romuald (Kathleen), Clarence (Roseann), Leonard, Paul and sister, Josephine (John Stienen) and his in-laws, Eddie and Betty Moran.

Mary E. Ebben, age 95, of Kaukauna, passed away in peace and comfort at American Grand Assisted Living Suites on Sunday, August 10, 2014. Mary was born on June 22, 1919, in the Town of Freedom, to the late William and Minnie (Van Epern) Heindl. On April 22, 1939, she married Vincent J. Ebben; he preceded her in death on February 21, 1998. After raising her children, Mary worked for Kaukauna Klub Cheese for 11 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mary enjoyed cross-stitch, embroidery and crocheting, having made many treasured keepsakes for family and friends over the years. She always looked forward to those occasions when her family gathered together. Mary had a quick wit which was enjoyed by others right up to her last days, and loved cheering on her Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.

Janet was born in the town of Vandenbroek on September 17, 1936, daughter of the late Andrew and Mildred (Riley) Heindl. Janet was employed for a time at Giddings and Lewis in Kaukauna, and enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, as well as genealogy.
She is survived by her brother: Roger Heindl of Kaukauna, as well as by nieces, nephews, and many close friends.

Col. Roger proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves. He worked at Kobussen Busses as a mechanic for over 43 years. Col. Roger's true passion was for auctions. Buying and selling things was his specialty. He was an auctioneer for over 40 years and owned "Major Auction" and later "Major Sales."
Col. Roger is survived by his son, Le Roy (Lisa) Heindl; daughters: Ginger Heindl and Virginia Ann Heindl; and a grandson, Eric Heindl. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Janet Heindl; and a daughter, Angela Heindl.
A memorial celebration will be held TODAY, Sunday, September 18, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Vandenbroek Town Hall, located on the corner of Hwy 55 and Cty Road JJ. A private family burial has taken place at Kelso Cemetery, Kaukauna.

Thomas W. Nienhaus, 77, Panama City Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 27, 2013. He was born December 12, 1936, in Greenleaf, WI, to Arnold Nienhaus and Lillian (Verbaeten) Nienhaus Ruckdashel. He married Dorothy A. Nienhaus May 15, 1965. He was the owner of Kustom Klean, a successful custodial company in Oshkosh, WI. After selling his business he worked at EAA in Oshkosh, WI. Thomas was currently retired, living in Florida. He resided in Oshkosh from 1966-1991, Neshkoro from 1991-2010 and Florida from 2010-present. He loved having coffee every morning with some dear friends, Big Jack and Little Jack. He also enjoyed playing cards and bingo with his friends at the PCB Senior Center. He will always be remembered as a great provider and his fun loving spirit. He will be greatly missed his only child, daughter, Merrie (Kevin) Pionke, Walkersville, MD; two grandsons; mother Lillian (Verbaeten) Nienhaus Ruckdashel of Greenville, WI; sister, Judy (Bill) Moeller of Hortonville; 3 brothers Frank (Sheila) Nienhaus of Oshkosh; Arnold (Mary) of New London; Richard (Marsha) of Portland, OR; nieces and nephews. Richard "Dick" Nienhaus, 75, of Little Chute, passed away with his loving family at his side on Thursday, April 28, 2016. He was born on October 31, 1940, son of the late Frank and Frances (Schultz) Nienhaus.
Dick married Gloria Driessen on July 17, 1963. He served his country in the U.S. Army for three years. Dick was employed at Thilmany in Kaukauna for over 30 years until his retirement. He had what some would call "the gift of gab", he was able to talk to anyone. He enjoyed getting together with his friends for their morning breakfast club. Most importantly, he loved his family. He enjoyed following all of his grandchildren's events.
Dick will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Gloria; his daughters and sons-in-law: Jill and Tony Duffeck, Amy Vander Zanden, Mike Vander Zanden, Kari and Paul Olson and Mikayla Fansler; grandchildren: Owen and Olivia Duffeck, Emily and Ethan Vander Zanden, Sadie, Caleb, Jonah and Kate Olson; siblings: Jeri (Jerry) Kempen, Lyle (Lola) Nienhaus, Harold "Butch/Whitey" (Nancy) Nienhaus; brothers and sisters-in-law: Glady Minten and Jerry (Audrey) Driessen; grand dogs and cat: Sugar, Cooper, Kitty, Jack, Zoey, Finn and Griffin; the breakfast club members; special friends: John and Joan Doering and Tom Frank; neighbors and friends near and far.
Dick is happy to be reunited with his brother, Tom; his dad, Frank; dear friend, Vern Liesch; friend and brother-in-law, Erv Minten and most of all, his mother, Fanny…it has been too long. He is also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Rosalie and Don Vanden Heuvel.
Dick's wishes were not to have a traditional service so the family invites anyone who knew Dick to a celebration of his life on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Countryside Golf Club, W726 Weiler Rd. Kaukauna, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a sharing of memories at 7:00 p.m. with Bob Lenz. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Dick's name. Thomas J. Nienhaus, Appleton, age 70, died peacefully in his sleep on December 28, 2013 at his home. He was born May 17, 1943 in Little Chute, WI, son of the late Frank and Frances (Schultz) Nienhaus. Tom attended St. John Nepomucene Elementary School in Little Chute, WI and graduated from Sacred Heart Seminary in Oneida, WI in 1961. He worked for Appleton Mills for many years. After his retirement, Tom worked for the Kimberly School System and the Appleton Post Crescent. He officiated many softball games and enjoyed sports, particularly the Wisconsin Badgers.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Sister Cynthia Nienhaus, CSA of Fond du Lac; his son, James (Melissa) Nienhaus of Appleton; two grandchildren: Emily and Sarah; one sister: Geraldine (Gerald) Kempen, Darboy; three brothers: Lyle (Lola) Nienhaus, Kaukauna, Richard (Gloria) Nienhaus, Kaukauna, and Harold (Nancy) Nienhaus, Appleton; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including his favorite cousin, Mary Beth Nienhaus, Appleton.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A Mass of Resurrection for Tom will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 2, 2014 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 213 E Wisconsin Ave., Appleton with Rev. William Hoffman officiating. Friends may visit the family Thursday at church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute, WI.

Ronald T. Vande Yacht, 73, Wrightstown, passed away unexpectedly at his Wrightstown residence, on Thursday, November 2, 2017 while sitting in his easy chair watching his favorite TV program. Ron was born in Green Bay on December 3, 1943, the son of Ed and Anna (Nienhaus) Vande Yacht. He is survived by his twin brother, Donald and Nancy (Urban) Vande Yacht, Green Bay, niece Christine Vande Yacht, Minneapolis, nephew Daniel & Kim, Jessica, Jack and Kaitlin Vande Yacht, Ashwaubenon. He is further survived by sons Vince Vande Yacht, Wrightstown and Troy & Lisa, Mason, Connor Vande Yacht, Muskego along with other relatives and friends.
Ron graduated from Rio Creek Grade School, Casco High School and attended UW-Madison. After finishing his schooling, he worked in the cheese industry, co-founding Kasson Cheese Co., Inc. with his twin brother. He later joined with his father in the water pump installation business and did a fabulous job growing the Vande Yacht Pump Installing Company into one of Wisconsin's largest and most respected. He did this with hard work and a devotion to his customers, anytime, anywhere, which led to his success. He was an avid Badger, Packer sports fan and his appreciation of all cars, especially Corvettes, was unsurpassed.
Respecting Ron's wishes, the family has decided that there will be no Memorial Service. Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Daniel P. Nienhaus, age 62, Duluth, Minnesota lost his silent struggle with cancer and was called to heaven on March 27, 2018. Dan was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on January 8, 1956 to Jerry and Rosine (Berghuis) Nienhaus and was raised in Seymour.
The ability to figure out any problem, fix it, and move on was his virtue. There wasn't anything Dan did half-way. He worked as a concrete laborer and finisher, hotel maintenance worker, carpenter, and was a supervisor with a paper recycling Pulp Company. He enjoyed music and fishing with his buddies, always going for the big brown trout. Many friends may remember his Z-28 Camaro, Harley stroker, sense of humor, and his strive to have a good time!
He is survived by a brother, Terry (Cheryl) Nienhaus; Seymour, and three sisters, Linda (Don) Vandenberg; Neenah, Nancy (Greg) Stevens; Green Bay, Ginny (Brian) Jenks; Florida, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
The last stop in Dan's life journey was Duluth Minnesota, where he lived near the shipping canal on Lake Superior. Watching those big freighters coming and going led him to send pictures to family and friends. Music brought great joy to his life, he thoroughly enjoyed attending local music venues and listening to the Duluth public radio station - KUMD 103.3 FM. He was always ready to lend a hand to the local homeless and people not-so-fortunate in the area. He lived a simple life doing what he enjoyed and didn't want for much, just that people be happy. Dan's fun-loving character will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Nancy L. (Schlimm) Carlson, age 64, passed away on Monday morning, July 27, 2009. Her death, attended by her family, occurred at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, WI. Nancy was born November 18, 1944, daughter of Clarence and Mary (Appleton) Schlimm. She was a graduate of St. Nicholas Elementary School and Freedom High School, Freedom, WI, also, having graduated from Green Bay College of Cosmetology and was employed in Wisconsin and Michigan salons. In later years, Nancy operated The Hollywood Supper Club in Florence, WI, and later employed at Pine Mountain Resort Restaurant and CJ Graphics in Kingsford, MI.
Nancy was a member of St. Mary and St. Joseph parish in Iron Mountain. She proudly and lovingly raised her granddaughter Dominique Berniqua Harris. Dominique is a student at Bishop Baraga Catholic School in Iron Mountain. Dominique describes "My Nana" as "the best in the world". They cared for each other for ten years. Nancy remains in our collective memory for her strong work ethic, her laugh and the grin we teased her about. She was a spirited sports fan and appreciative of family vacations at Lac du Lune. We love her and we miss her.
Nancy is survived by her children: Cristian (Misty) Carlson, Bull Head City, AZ; Marisa Carlson, St. Paul, MN; and granddaughter, Dominique Harris. She is further survived by her siblings: Dorothy Schlimm Sand (John Sand), Cambridge, WI; Mary Ann Schlimm, Freedom, WI; Fran (Jim) Kieffer, Appleton, WI; Robert (Cindy) Schlimm, Seymour, WI; her godchildren, Brandon Carlson, Fountain Hills, AZ; Thomas Schlimm, Seymour, WI; and Cyndi Trevethan, Appleton, WI. Additional survivors include nieces and nephews: Dr. Nicole Kieffer (Dr. Claudius Mahr), Evanston, IL; Margo Kieffer, Appleton, WI; Lesley Kieffer, Chicago, IL; Tom, Dan and Anna Schlimm, Seymour, WI; Nicole (Mike) Lutz, Iron Mountain, MI. In addition Nancy enjoyed her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends throughout her lifetime.

William "Bill" J. Schuh, age 62, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center- Appleton. He was born to the late William and Margaret (Haug) Schuh on January 9, 1955. Bill graduated from Appleton West High School and St. Thomas University. On January 8, 2000, Bill married Marsha Tonn. He worked at Kohl's, the Post Crescent, and most recently he was self-employed.
Bill enjoyed fishing, boating, and golfing. He was always up for a good time. Bill was a member of the Appleton Yacht Club for many years.
Bill is survived by his wife of 17 years, Marsha; his son John (special friend Brittney) Schuh; his brother Mathew (Melanie) Schuh; his sisters: Betsy (Wally) Szadzinski, Theresa (Mark) Rechner and Peggy (Larry) Jachec; nephews: Ted, Bill, Tony, Conrad and Adam; nieces: Bess (Josh), Maggie (Kevin) and Kate (Derek); his dog Sparky; and many other relatives and friends.

Mark Verboomen died peacefully at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 with his family at his side. He was born November 10, 1970 in Green Bay to Carl and Linda (Moran) Verboomen. He graduated from Xavier High School in 1989 and attended Fox Valley Technical College. He was a machinist for Ariens Manufacturing and for the past 20 years was a machinist at Van Zeeland Manufacturing in Little Chute.
He enjoyed fishing, watching sports on TV, especially Brewers Baseball and Wisconsin Badger Football, and spending time with his friends at his trailer in Elcho.
He is survived by his mother, Linda, in Wrightstown; his sister, Paula and brother-in-law John Loew in Pewaukee; and his nephew Emmett Loew, also in Pewaukee. He is also survived by many cousins, friends, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl, his grandparents Mary and Andrew Verboomen and Edgar and Betty Moran as well as his God parents, Clarence and Roseanne Verboomen.
Family and friends may visit at DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main St, Wrightstown, on Friday, November 17 from 3:00pm until the time of memorial service at 6:00pm with Deacon Ken Kabat officiating. Marvin "Butch" Heindl, age 72, of Kaukauna, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015. Marv was born on November 26, 1942, son of the late Ray and Margaret Heindl. He married Kathy Scott on July 29, 1967. Marv graduated from Freedom High School in 1962. He was a proud Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion. Marv retired after 27 years from Hobart Corp. His favorite hobbies were camping, fishing and woodworking.
