Obituary:
Rose Mary Niemuth, 70, New London, died on Friday, May 30, 2008, at her residence. She was born on Nov. 11, 1937, in Bear Creek, daughter of the late Alex and Merle (Thompson) Bessette. On Feb. 5, 1955, she married Melvin Niemuth in Manawa.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Melvin; daughters, Susan (Gerald) Doede, Weyauwega; Diane (Patrick) Hunter, Waupaca; brothers and sisters, Ruthann O'Bright, Neenah; Janet Bergman, New London; Gerald (Bonnie) Blink, Hortonville; Charles (Linda) Blink, New London; Sharon Wesley, Tigerton; Jean (Dave) Doede, Waupaca; Joan (Tom) Carelli, New London; Mainard Jr. Blink, New London; Debra (Pat) Doyle, Neenah; Cindy Lyons, Arizona; Joyce (Chuck) Drephal, Appleton; Gordon Blink, Oshkosh; Donald (Betty) Blink, Waupaca; Dawn (Steven) Groeschel, Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Ricky, Stacey (Jamie) Chmielewski, Scott and Andy; four great-grandchildren, Kiefer, Paige, Ryan and Walker. She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and also her dog, Gus.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Mainard Blink; a brother, Leon Bessette; brothers-in-law, Jim O'Bright and Craig Wesley.
The funeral service for Rose Mary will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London, with Sister Ruth Berra, Heartland Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Hobart Cemetery in the Town of Royalton. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
