    Obituary:
Shirley Rogers Jeffers, 85, New London, passed away on Jan. 1, 2012, at St. Joseph's Nursing Home in New London.
Mom was born Dec. 21, 1926, in Appleton, to William and Edna Rogers. She attended Appleton High School, graduating in 1944. After high school, she worked at Montgomery Ward in the credit department and it was during this time that she met her future husband, Dean Jeffers. They were married on June 6, 1951, together raised six children and were married for 52 years. Dad died in 2004.
Mom was an excellent cook, devoted friend and eager volunteer. One of her greatest and perhaps finest qualities is that she was liked, admired and appreciated by everyone who met her, making even the latest person she met feel like they had been friends for a lifetime. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge, watching "Pat and Vanna", going on trips with Kathryn and mostly being with her family. She was a devout Catholic and a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Stephen (Sue), Kathryn, Patrick (Tina), Mark (Guy), Michael (Joy) and Robert (Jan); her brother, John; sisters-in-law, Arlene and Donna; brother-in-law, Jim (Corrinne); as well as many wonderful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and local friends. Her daughters-in-law treated Mom with dignity and grace.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, James Malliet; husband, Dean; brother, Tom; Kathryn's partner, Paul; and many sisters and brothers-in-law, all of whom she is now reunited with eternally.
Mom's life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London, with Father David Lewis officiating. Her burial will be at the church cemetery next to her husband. A visitation for Shirley will be held on Thursday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
Our family wishes to extend it's heartfelt thanks to the remarkable staffs of St. Joseph Nursing Home and Heartland Hospice and Mom's lifelong friends who were there for her with offers of a ride, to go out for a meal or simply just to talk. She loved you for that. We loved her and will miss her.
Until we meet again Mom, please know that our heartfelt thanks go with you.
In lieu of any flowers, please remember Mom with a donation to the American Alzheimer's Association in her name.

He enjoyed his work with Rawhide Boys Ranch coordinating the car parts program and his most recent work at NFIB as a Territory Manager lobbying for the rights of small business owners. Mikey loved a game of cribbage. He played many family tournaments. He was a wonderful cook studying cooking shows for gourmet results. His compassion was reflected in his random attendance of funerals consoling families who were strangers when they met but friends when he left. Michael reached out to his community by leading Church Sunday School classes and organizing Appleton Oktoberfest events for his Church. Many marriages, funerals and other occasions were blessed by his booming tenor voice, singing for many families at these special times. He will be missed by his wife, Joy Hope (nee Stroud) Jeffers. His children: Jeremy (Jen) Jeffers; Shanda (Mickey) Stachurski, Jason(Hannah) Jeffers; Sara (Brian) Montonati; Jonathan (Ariadne) Jeffers, Elizabeth Jeffers; Timothy Jeffers; Benjamin Jeffers; Samuel Jeffers; and Anna Jeffers, His grandchildren: Kloie Kugler, Olivia Kugler, and Violet Jeffers; Mickey (Alyssa), Ella, and Sophie Stachurski; Amelia, and Eden Montonati; Annalucia, Owen, and Olivia Jeffers; and Aubree Mader, His siblings: Steve (Sue) Jeffers, Kathryn (John Knechtel) Jeffers, Patrick (Tina) Jeffers, his identical twin brother Mark Jeffers, and Robert (Jan Lindsay) Jeffers, His in-laws: Bronnie and Annabelle (nee Dorman) Stroud, his sister-in-law: Judith (Jim) Stuck, and his brothers-in-law: John (Elizabeth Daigle) Stroud, and James (Gretchen) Stroud. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Dean Adair and Shirley Mae (nee Rogers) Jeffers. Funeral Liturgy will be on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at 10 AM at St. Matthew Orthodox Church, 607 Ravenswood Dr., Green Bay. Fr. Maximus Cabey Officiant. Interment Spencer Lake Memorial Park, Waupaca, to follow luncheon. Visitation Wednesday, March 30, 2016, from 4 PM to 8 PM, Trisagion service 6 to 6:30 PM, and visitation Thursday, March 31, 2016, from 9 AM until time of Liturgy. Dad: Your unconditional love, affection and loyalty to all of your children and grandchildren will never be forgotten. You always made time for each of us and we will carry the memory of your love in our hearts forever. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of St. Elizabeth Hospital ICU, Appleton, WI, and Aurora St. Luke's Hospital ICU, Milwaukee, WI, for their compassionate care.
