Obituary:
Robert E. Eggert 3006 Island Point Rd., Oshkosh Age 58, passed away Wednesday morning at Theda Clark Hospital following a short illness. He was born November 11, 1913 in Appleton and was a resident of Island Point Rd. for the past 13 years, and was employed with American Can Co. for over 30 years and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. He was president of the Twin City Bowl Men's League, a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Menasha. Survivors are his wife, Gladys Welsch Eggert; two sons, Darold, Conshohocken, Penn.; Stephen, Racine; two brothers, Norman (Baldy) and Harold, Both of Appleton; two sisters, Mrs. James Reese, Chimacum, Washington and Mrs. Wilmer Schmidt, Appleton; and 3 grandsons. Funeral servcies will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Menasha. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the Kessler Funeral Home from 4 until 9 p.m. Thursday. A memorial fund has been established.

Robert married Welsch, Gladys 3 Jul 1937, Crown Point, Lake, Indiana, USA. Gladys (daughter of Welsch, Henry and Bohm, Ida) was born 12 Dec 1916, Tigerton, Shawano, Wisconsin, USA; died 10 Mar 1998, Apache Junction, Pinal, Arizona, USA. [Group Sheet]
