    Haase, C.J. With his wife and daughters at his side, C.J. Haase, 85, Green Bay, allowed his body to rest and released his spirit to join Jesus Christ and loved ones who have passed before him, Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, following an inspirational journey with cancer. C.J. was born Aug. 20, 1922, to Mayme (VanGroll) and Fred Haase in Ellington, Wis. He graduated from Seymour H.S. in 1940, and earned his Wisconsin Cheese Makers License while working for the family business, The Plainview Cheese Factory near Isaar, Wis. He served in the United States Army assigned to the Headquarters Company, Western Pacific Base Command in Saipan. Following active duty he joined the Army Reserves, graduated from a two-year Business College in Green Bay, Wis., and attended Army Finance School completing a Finance Procedure Certification. On July 24, 1954, C.J. married Rita Landwehr Cadle at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Green Bay. He worked for International Harvester until 1960, when he joined Green Bay Packaging as a payroll supervisor until his retirement on Jan. 1, 1986. C.J. also belonged to the Catholic Order of Foresters and the High Gallon Club of the American Red Cross, having donated more than 55 gallons. He has volunteered for the Red Cross for over 20 years and Bellin Health for the past seven years. C.J. enjoyed a long retirement; sharing with his family and friends his love of baseball, bowling, hunting, fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and playing cards. He water skied the last time during the summer he turned 80 yrs. old and ice skated for the last time during the winter of 2007 on Newton Lake. He also valued the precious time spent at their cottage with family and friends.
    C.J. is remembered by his wife of 53 years, Rita; daughters, Jan (Ron) Lealiou, and Jean Lutsey; dear friend, Karen Deshler; grandchildren, Jon (Pam) Lutsey, Dan (Jen) Lutsey, Ronnie (Sam) Lealiou, Rick Lealiou and Randy Lealiou; great-grandchildren, Rae Lutsey and Joeli Lutsey. C.J. is further remembered by brothers, Howard, Ted (Arvilla), Don (Fran) and Fred Jr. (Nancy) Haase; sister-in-laws, Susan Schmit, Grace and Frances Landwehr; brother-in-laws, Don (Marion) and Vernon (Carol) Landwehr; many other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a son in law, K.C. Lutsey; his brothers, Joe (Jane) Haase; and Francis Haase; sisters, Marie Haase; and Rosemary Frost; sisters-in-law, Lucy (Ed) Mathesian; Mary (Lawrence) Doaust; Caroline Landwehr; Mildred (Clarence) Eick; and Bernice (Henry) Dombrowicki; brothers-in-law, Leonard (Nellie); Alois (Loretta); Bill (Emily) Carlton; and Francis Landwehr.
    Family and friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. A Parish Wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 211 North Maple, from 10 to 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Donald Everts officiating. Veteran's honors will follow.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the American Red Cross-Lakeland Chapter.
    The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Ebben, Dr. Tom and Cindy Geocaris, Dr. Winkler and their staffs, Bellin hospital's ACD, One South, St. Vincent Hospital's Ninth Floor, 6th IMCU and Unity Hospice for their care and concern for C.J.

    Theodore W. Haase, Sr., 89 of Seymour, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, November 23, 2016 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, and joined his loving wife who passed away November 17, 2016. He was born March 2, 1927, son of the late Fred and Mayme (Van Groll) Haase. On August 25, 1951, he was united in marriage to Arvilla Roskom.
    Ted was a Korean Army Veteran and a member of Seymour American Legion.
    Ted was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour. He and his brothers owned North Osborn Cheese Co. until his retirement. He served on the Seymour City Council, Alderman and past director of Valley Bank. Ted was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting, fishing and golfing.
    He is survived by his children: Ted (Chris) Haase, Appleton; Cynthia (Tom) Fitchett, Houston; John (Kathy) Haase, Memphis; grandchildren: Nate (Jenna) Haase, Lexie (Jed) Roffers, Lyssa Haase, Cayley Haase, Jessica (Carlos) Garcia, Christopher (Candice) Fitchett, Blake, Brittany, Heather and Hunter Haase; great-grandchildren: Hayden, Colton, Travis, Vander, Chael, Dylan, Savannah, Madeyln, Taylor, Isabelle, Avery and Kennedy; brothers: Don "Pete" (Fran) Haase, Green Bay; Fred "Fritz" (Nancy) Haase, Seymour; sister-in-law, Rita Haase, Green Bay.
    Preceded in death by brothers: Howard (Velma) Haase, Joe (Jane) Haase and Clarence Haase; and one sister, Rosemary "Haase" Frost.
    Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. with Father Brian Belongia officiating.
