    Obituary:
    Patricia Ann "Pat" (Verbrick, Talbot) Kuehl, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at her home. She was born on March 14, 1929, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Norbert and Dorothy (Peterson) Verbrick. Pat was the owner and operator of Smith-Talbot Jewelry; she also worked at Verbrick's Texaco Station, Winnebago County Social Services, ADVOCAP and Gilbert Paper. Her favorite career was being a mother to her children and caring for anyone who came to her home. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church Choir, Chaminade Women's Chorus in Appleton, Girl and Boy Scouts, MACs, Eagles, Business and Professional Women, where she was voted Woman of the Year. She was active in Riverside Players and Menasha Boys Sports, enjoyed golf and cards. Pat loved keeping up with her high school friends and attending monthly luncheons with them. On June 1, 1990 she married Donald Kuehl in Neenah and started celebrating the first of 283 monthly anniversaries beginning with a six month adventurous honeymoon traveling and visiting friends and family. She loved meeting new people and had a place in her heart for all of them.
    Pat is survived by her husband, Don; six children: Daniel (Jeanne) Talbot, Dorothy (George) Dworshok, Nora (Doug) Kees, Roy John (Diane) Talbot, Barbara (Tom Strover) Talbot and William (Kathy) Talbot, all of Menasha; four step-children: Todd Kuehl of Neenah, Valerie (James) Beardsley of Appleton, Leigh Ann (Loran) Faust of Milwaukee and Terri (Rick) Pietrusiak of Olympia, WA; 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul Verbrick of Aiken, SC; one step-brother, Patrick Payne of Tucson, AZ; one sister-in-law, Lucille St. Arnold of Kaukauna; and special friend, Kathy Bauer. Pat is further survived by extended family and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Talbot, her step-mother Martha, two sisters-in-law, Barbara Verbrick and Dorothy (Al) Gradl.
    Memorial service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha, with Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memorial Park at a later date.
    Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army.

    AIKEN, SC - VINCENT PAUL VERBRICK, 86, husband of the late Barbara O. (Thompson) Verbrick, died Monday, September 18, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Menasha, WI, Paul was the son of the late Norbert F. and Dorothy Peterson Verbrick of Appleton, Wisconsin.
    He worked in sales as a young man, in Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin, and later became the owner and operator of Verbrick's Service Station on Washington Street in Menasha, continuing the business of his father before him. Taking a leap of faith, Paul and Barbara retired to Aiken, SC in 1986, building a new house and home there, even as they sorely missed their dear friends and family in the north. In Aiken, they were active members of St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church, and Paul was able to play golf the year round. He was preceded in death by his sister Patsy (Don) Kuehl. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Debbie Verbrick, Bluffton, SC; his daughter and son-in-law, Kristan and Carl Pramuk, Silver Spring, MD; three grandchildren, Davis and Alice Verbrick, and Maia Pramuk. Survivors in Wisconsin include his sister's children, Dan (Jeanne) Talbot, Dorothy (George) Dworshok, Nora (Doug) Kees, Roy John (Diane) Talbot, Barby Talbot, and Bill ((Kathy) Talbot, as well as a host of Barbara and Paul's beloved extended family and chosen family in and around their long-time Neenah home.
    A memorial service will be held on October 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church with interment following in the churchyard. The Rev. Grant Wiseman will officiate.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church, 125 Pendleton St., SW, Aiken, SC 29801.
