    Pakalski, Veroni ca M.Veronica M. Pakalski, of Menasha, age 94, passed away unexpectedly at h er home on Tuesday, February 21, 2006. Veronica was born September 24, 191 1, in Kimberly, WI, the daughter of the late Anton and Bertha (Van Mun) De Wildt. She married Kenneth Pakalski on June 12, 1934, at St. John Cathol ic Church. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1976.Veronica was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha. She loved sp ending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her hobbies in cluded playing Sheepshead and crossword puzzles.Veronica is survived by her children: Sandra Brandt, Menasha; Paul Pakalsk i, Florida; Mary (Ervin) Willes, Menasha; and David (Wanda) Pakalski, Sou th Dakota. Veronica is also survived by 21 grandchildren: Michael (Hele n) Berens, Cheryl Long, Paul Berens, Susan (Pat) Wunderlich, Kathryn (Ro n) Krake, David Berens, James Brandt, Suellen (Paul) Howard, Peter (Monic a) Pakalski, J. P. (Victoria) Pakalski, Connie (Mark) Galvin, David Pakals ki, Andrew (Jennifer) Pakalski, Fred (Kay) Willes, Rod (Angela) Willes, An thony Willes, Alisa Heiman, Jessica (Al) Cleveland, James Willes, Karen (M ike) McGuigan, Christine (Jody) Abraham; 38 great-grandchildren, seven gre at-great-grandchildren, six step grandchildren, 16 step great-grandchildre n, 12 step great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, other relat ives and friends.She was preceded in death by her son-in-law William Brandt, a grandson Ma rk Berens, a brother, two sisters, two step brothers and a step sister.Funeral services for Veronica will be held on Saturday, February 25, 200 6, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second St., Menasha, with F ather Paul Radetski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Frie nds and family will be received at the church on Saturday morning fr om 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral mass.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated.

    Sandra J. Brandt, age 81 of Menasha, passed away on December 19, 2016. Sandra was born on May 28, 1935 in Menasha to Kenneth and Veronica (DeWilt) Pakalski . She was a 1953 graduate of St. Mary High School in Menasha. In 1973 she married William Brandt and he preceded her in death in 1998. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Menasha. She was employed for many years as a bank teller, retiring from Prospera Credit Union in 2007. Sandra enjoyed going to the casino, traveling, fishing and playing cards. Her Wednesday Night Card Club was always a high point of her week.
    She is survived by, children: Mike (Helen) Berens of Menasha; Cheryl Long (fiancé Peter Lingnofski) of Neenah; Paul Berens of Menasha; Sue (Pat) Wunderlich of Hortonville; Kathy (Ronnie) Krake of New London; David Berens of Menasha; James "Jim" (Erika) Brandt of Mountain Home, Idaho; step-children: Judith (Gary) Joosten; William (Mary) Brandt III, John Brandt, Wayne (Linda) Brandt, Steven Brandt, Kathleen Radtke, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, Paul Pakalski and Dave (Wanda) Pakalski, brother-in-law Erv Willes as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Howard Berens and her second husband, William Brandt, son Mark Berens, sister Mary Willes and a step-son David Brandt.
    There will be a visitation on Thursday December 29, 2016 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church of Menasha, 528 Second Street in Menasha. Funeral Mass will be at the church on Thursday at 11:00am with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Menasha.
