    Notes:

    Obituary:
Gary A. Amundson went to be with the Lord, his two fathers and his best friend on August 26, 2008. Gary was born in Oshkosh on October 2, 1966, to LaVern Amundson and Donna Schmude-Schimke. Gary has been a landscaper most of his life. He enjoyed and took pleasure in his work. Gary enjoyed the outdoors and hunting with both the gun and bow. He always waited for the big bucks to come around. In 2005, he got his biggest buck ever. He was very excited and proud of this buck. He was also enjoyed fishing year round, taking his children whenever possible. The outdoor life is what Gary enjoyed while being on this earth, now he's enjoying the outdoors up there in Heaven, with the men he hunted with all his life.
Gary is survived by his three children: Bruce William (fiancee Nu Vang) of Neenah, Mandy Marie of Oshkosh, who lives with her mom Donna Woodland, Beau Hunter of Hortonville, who lives with his mother Sarah (Verboomen) Amundson; Gary's first granddaughter by his son Bruce, Breeze Sumae Amundson, his mother Donna Schimke; his only sister, Becky Kiel of Neenah; five brothers: Steven (Patty) Amundson of Neenah, Daniel (Kelly Rettler) of Menasha, Mark (Tammy) of Oshkosh, Randy (Claudette) of West Bloomfield, Scot (Debra) of Neenah; two stepbrothers: Thomas Amundson and Scott Boehning; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his two fathers, LaVern Amundson and Richard Schimke; all his grandparents; and his best friend and brother-in-law, James F. Kiel.
Gary will be sadly missed, but always remembered in our hearts and memories. We love you Gary and will miss you dearly. You are now watching over all of us.
A Memorial Service for Gary will be held on Friday August 29, 2008, at 7 p.m. at Fox Cities Funeral Home with the Reverend Jeffrey Knoll officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday from 3 p.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
The family would like to thank all the nurses in the CCU unit at Theda Clark Medical Center for taking such good care of Gary during this time. Your kindness and caring was a great comfort during these hard times.
To my loved ones; I want to say that the time has come, My heart is broken, my soul is done. My spirit will live on with all of you, But today is the day that I have to go. I'm going to visit the Lord above, I'm going to visit my best friend I love. For this is the moment I can live in peace, This is the moment my fears have decreased. For I'm free to roam the world, I am free to be by your side. Just remember that I will always be here, In your hearts and memories to be. For I am your father, your brother and your son, For I will always be here in your heart and spirit. No matter what, I will be with you all.
