    Wheaton, Cecilia, Francisc an Care Center, formerly of KaukaunaAge 94, went home to her Lord on Monday, February 9, 2004. She was born Ju ne 20, 1909 to the late Michael and Jacobina (Van De Hey) Van Densen in Gr eenleaf, WI. She married the late Oliver Wheaton on June 19, 1933 at St. P atrick Catholic Church in Menasha. Their union produced two sons, Ronald a nd Warren. Throughout her life Cecilia worked at many places including Bel /Kaukauna and Theda Clark Hospital. She was active in the VFW and the Amer ican Legion and was a past President of these organizations. Cecilia was a lso active with the St. Mary Alter Society. She enjoyed baking and sewi ng but by far her greatest joy in life was to care for her family. We ha ve many fond memories of Sunday dinners at Grandma's followed by her famo us pie. Cecilia will be remembered for her kindness and compassion that s he showed to everyone who knew her. She was a gentle loving person that al ways put everyone before herself.She is survived by her son, Ronald (Patricia) Wheaton; a daughter in la w, Mary Miller-Wenzel; seven grandchildren: Jodi (Mark) Houg, Trina (Ja y) Hanagan, Kevin (Penny) Wheaton, Wade Wheaton, Tanya (Bruce) Nechodom, S kye (Steve) Meidam, Kim (Chuck) Cerull; fourteen great-grandchildren: Ky le (Veronica) Hanagan, Ryan Hanagan, Adam and Jeremy Nechodom, Alexi, Tyl er and Brandon Houg, Brianna and Savanna Wheaton, Brian Wheaton, Amanda Wh eaton, Theresa Wheaton, Kenlie and Cole Cerull; three great-great-grandchi ldren: Anthony Zoglman, Nahlana Nechodom and Isaiah Nechodom and thr ee on the way. Rose was born near Greenleaf on Janu ary 13, 1914, daughter of the late Michael and Jacobina (Van de Hey) Van D ensen. On September 12, 1936, she married Stephen Terry at St. Paul's Chur ch in Wrightstown; he preceded her in death in October of 1995. As a you ng woman, Rose filled in for her older sisters at their jobs at Theda Cla rk Hospital in Neenah.She also enjoyed her canine companions over the years, especially Princ e, Toby, and Cocoa. She was a talented cook and baker, and will be remembe red by everyone for her homemade pies, breads, and fish frys. She loved h er family, and dedicated herself to caring for her children and husband ov er the years.     Van Densen, Leona "Onie"Leona "Onie" Van Densen, Kindred Hearts, Kaukauna, age 87, died from compl ications of pneumonia and joined her lord in heaven on January 16th, 200 5. She was born February 14, 1917 to the late Michael and Jacobina (V an De Hey) Van Densen in Greenleaf, WI. She never married but had touch ed many children through her years of teaching. She graduated from Wrights town High School and went on to college at the Outagamie Rural Normal Scho ol to become a schoolteacher. She then finished her masters in teachi ng at Oshkosh University. She taught school for 35 years at many differe nt places including; Little Chute Elementary, Holy Cross, Woodlawn Scho ol and Cherry Hill. She always said if she had to live her life over aga in she would be a teacher again, that was her greatest joy in life.She was a member of the Outagamie County Retired Teachers Organization. S he enjoyed crafts, needlework, sewing, baking and playing games. Leona lov ed children and was in fact a child herself, she could always be found pla ying with the kids, reading stories or teaching the alphabet. Leona was af fectionately known as Onie and many of us thought of her as a second grand ma. She was a very generous, loving person and we will hold many fond memo ries of her in our hearts.She is survived by one sister, Rosella Terry; two brothers: Leonard (Janic e) Van Densen and Joseph (Adeline) Van Densen; special nephew and niece, R onald and Patricia Wheaton; and many other nieces, nephews, great-niece s, great-nephews, cousins and special friends.Her parents, five brothers, two sisters and many aunts, uncles, cousins, n ieces and nephews, preceded her in death.Onie: You loved us unconditionally and were always there when things got b ad.     Joseph J. J. Van Densen died at Theda Clark Medical Center on Saturday, June 23, 2007, at the age of 88. He was born January 3, 1919, to the late Michael and Jacobina Van Densen. Joe worked at Akrosil Paper Mill for many years. He was married to Adeline (Sprangers) Van Densen, and they both loved to fish and camp.
    Joe is survived by his wife, Adeline; daughter, Priscilla Johnston; granddaughters: Annie Johnston and Sally Johnston; great-granddaughter, Ella Johnston Gerritts, and great-grandson, Sidney Johnston Steinway.
    Joe was preceded in death by his brothers: Lawrence, George, Jack, Ben and Leonard and sisters: Ceil Wheaton, Leona Van Densen, Rose Terry and Marie Van Densen.
    Funeral services for Joe will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha, with Father Paul Radetski officiating. Friends and family will be received at church on Wednesday morning from 11 a.m. until the hour of the funeral mass. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha.

    Van Densen, Leonard M. , Leonard Van Densen, 73, Clintonville, formerly of Neenah, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at Shawano Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1933, in Greenleaf, son of Michael and Jacobina (Van De Hey) Van Densen. Leonard married Janice Haufe, September 27, 1958, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha. He was employed at American Can Ink Plant for 23 years and Wisconsin Tissue Mills for 15 years. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Elefson Zeuske Post #117, Shawano. He loved polkas, going to the Casino and his soap operas.
    Leonard is survived by his wife, Janice; his son, Timothy Van Densen, Weyauwega and his former daughter-in-law, Diane Van Densen; two grandchildren: Steven Van Densen, Waupaca and Kristi Van Densen, McDill Air Force Base, Tampa Bay, Florida; a brother, Joseph (Adeline) Van Densen, Menasha; many brothers- and sisters-in-law and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters and four brothers.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007, at the Kessler Funeral Home. Fri-ends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Thursday, until the time of the service. Military rites will be performed by members of the William Verhagen American Legion Post #60, Kimberly. A memorial has been established.
    The family wishes to express a special thank you to Scott and Val Surber and the girls for their love and support.

    Ronald J. Wheaton, age 77 of Darboy, died peacefully on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Appleton Medical Center. Ron was born on July 9, 1937, the son of Oliver and Cecilia (Van Densen) Wheaton. He attended Kaukauna High School and was in the armed services. On May 28, 1960, Ron married the love of his life, Patricia (Retzlaff) Wheaton. Together they had three children. Ron Worked at Badger Northland until the time of his retirement.
    Ron was a gifted artist and enjoyed sketching, painting, and engraving. He also loved to spend time outdoors hunting and fishing. Ron enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Badger and Packer fan. He was a very talented woodcrafter, making many gifts for the family. Ron loved dogs and always had at least one. His beloved Stella shall miss him very much.
    Ron is survived by his three children, Trina (Jay) Hanagan, Wade Wheaton, and Tanya (Bruce) Nechodom; grandchildren, Kyle (Veronica) Hanagan, Ryan (Heidi) Hanagan, Amanda Wheaton, Adam (LeAnn) Nechodom, and Jeremy (Krystal) Nechodom; and fifteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Wheaton, parents, brother, and brother-in-law.
    A celebration of Ron's life will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at the FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Kaukauna. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
    Ron's family would like to thank Dr. Michael Werner and staff, the 7th floor staff at AMC, Home Instead Senior Care, and Veronica Hanagan for unconditionally loving and caring for our Dad this past month.

    Appleton - Judith A. Wirth, age 80, died on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Mayflower Assisted Living. She was born in Kaukauna on January 20, 1938 to the late Steven and Rose (Van Denzen) Terry. Judith married Robert Wirth in 1956. Together, they had 5 children. Judith was a devoted mom and grandma and was happiest when she was with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, walking, biking and watching Shirley Temple and Disney movies, especially Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Judith also liked 50's and 60's music and having her daughter, Cindy, sing to her.
    Judith is survived by her husband, Bob; children: Pete, Appleton; Cindy (Randy) Dunk, Appleton; Keith (Delena), Little Chute; Glen (Nicole), Brillion; and Terry (Jennifer), Appleton; grandchildren: Ashley Nicole (Bryan) Meyer, Abby (Tim) Biesner, Jacob (Crystal) Wirth, Jenna, Alex, Lucas, Brianna, Kaden and Kiley Wirth and Kendra Tolliver; great grandchildren: Jackson Beisner and Scout Woodrose Meyer; siblings: Dan (Barb) Terry and Jean Piepkorn; and sisters-in-law: Cindy Terry, Diane and LaVern Wirth; and close friends, Twiggy and Jim School. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    William J. "Bill" Terry, 70, Kaukauna, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on October 27, 2013 after a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer. Bill was born on May 15, 1943 in Kaukauna to Stephen L. and Rosella (Van Densen) Terry. After graduating from Kaukauna High School in 1961, Bill served his country as a member of the United States Navy, returning home in 1965. On July 23, 1966 he married the former Cynthia "Cindy" Smith and together they had four children. Bill was employed with Thilmany Pulp and Paper for 35 years until he retired in 2005. Bill was an avid golfer and loved playing golf with his brother-in-law Ken Smith, his son Stephen, as well as many nephews and his niece. Bill enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sporting events and many school functions. Bill enjoyed traveling with his wife Cindy and especially liked their trips to Canada and Tempe, Arizona for the Brewers Training Camp. In his later years, he enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and spending time with his grandchildren.
    Bill is survived by his wife Cindy; children: Sharon (Shane) Laux, Robin Rettke, and Stephen (Mary) Terry; grandchildren Tucker Laux; Dylan Rettke and Kendra Rettke; Samantha Seefeldt, William Terry, Nicholas Terry, Vincent Terry, and Taylor Freeman; and Sean's children; Jazzmine Terry, Cody Terry, Dominick Terry, and Michael; brothers and sisters: Judy (Robert) Wirth, Daniel (Barbara) Terry, Patrick Terry and Jean Piepkorn as well as Cindy's surviving family and many other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Sean Terry, and brother-in-law David Piepkorn.
    There will be a funeral service for Bill on Thursday October 31, 2013 at Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 Highway 10-114, Menasha at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be Thursday at the church from 11:00 am to the time of the service. Interment at Union Cemetery of Kaukauna will be at a later date.     Sean Terry, 32, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, Sept. 21, 2007. Sean was born in Kaukauna on March 26, 1975, the son of William and Cindy (Smith) Terry. Sean attended the Kaukauna High School, and in July of 2001, he married Sarina Brock. He very much enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and reading. Many will remember some of the beautiful stories and poems Sean wrote. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, his nieces and nephews, and other family members. Sean was currently working at the Uno Chicago Grill in Appleton.
    He is survived by his parents, Bill and Cindy Terry, Kaukauna; his wife, Sarina Terry, Milwaukee; his children, Jasmine, Cody, Dominic, and Michael; a step-son, Robert; a sister, Sharon (Shane) Laux, Appleton, and their son, Tucker; a sister, Robin (Richard) Rettke, Appleton, and their children, Dylan and Kendra; and a brother, Stephen Terry, Kaukauna, and his sons, William, Nicholas, and Vincent. Other survivors include a special friend, Sherrie West; his godmother, Judy Smith, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
    He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul W. and Helen (Ball) Smith; his paternal grandparents, Stephen and Rosella (Van Denzen) Terry, and his godfather, Larry Smith.
    Funeral services for Sean will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at the funeral home chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established to help with the education of Sean's young children.
