    Obituary:
    Edward Bornemann, 65, Appleton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007. He was born Oct. 13, 1942, in Manitowoc, son of Marcella (Ebenhoe) Bornemann and the late Lawrence Bornemann. He married Ruthann Sawyer Oct. 8, 1966, sharing 41 years together. He was employed by Green Bay Department of Public Works for 21 years and retired Oct. 4, 2002. He developed and owned and operated Full Circle Recycling in DePere for 15 years before retiring. Edward was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was President of Title Town Treasure Seekers and a member of Green Bush Prospectors Club; Tomah Chapter of GPAA and Mid-State Metal Detecting Club.
    He is survived by his wife, Ruthann; a daughter, Dawn Bornemann-Flak, Kewaunee; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Randall Bornemann, St. Paul, Minn.; Jonathan and Christine Bornemann, Green Bay; a special niece, Tonya Martell, Green Bay; his mother, Marcella Bornemann, Green Bay; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Kathleen Bornemann, Green Bay; William and Betty Bornemann, Green Bay; Kenneth and Becky Bornemann, Menchalville; Robert and Anita Bornemann, Two Rivers; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Elizabeth DeKeyser, Green Bay; Elaine and Gregory Amato, Green Bay; Barbara and James Gauthier, Ashwaubenon; Patricia and Bernard Scheer, Allouez; five grandchildren, Shawn Flak; Susan Flak; Hannah Bornemann; Zachary Bornemann and Nala Bornemann-Jaffer; a brother-in-law, Richard Sawyer, Greenleaf; a sister-in-law, Roseann (Glen) Doell, Green Bay; two God-daughters, Keri Karnopp, Kewaunee and Debra Amrozowicz, Ft. Worth, Texas; many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Yvonne Sawyer and a brother-in-law, Robert DeKeyser.
    Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E. Glendale Ave., Appleton, with the Rev. Daniel Thews officiating. Burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Gardens in Two Rivers. Friends may call at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel on Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established.
    As a grandfather, Ed was a teacher to all, devoted and patient. He always attended his grandchildren's activities and they were the loves of his life.
