Obituary:
Stanley R. Mocarski, Kaukauna, age 73, went to be with the Lord peacefully Wednesday, Sep-tember 10, 2008, with his loving wife by his side. He was born April 13, 1935, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Michael and Mary Ann Zembrowski Mocarski. His mother died when he was three years old and he was raised by his father and stepmother, Frances Wojcik Mocarski. Stan graduated from Don Bosco High School and Spencerian Business College in Milwaukee, WI.
He married Phyllis Gleue on November 23, 1966. Stan spent his career as a court reporter working in the Circuit Court from 1955 to 1990. He then owned and operated Appleton Court Reporters from 1990 to 2006. Stan was an avid sports fan who loved to watch his children and grandchildren compete. He seldom missed a game and was extremely proud of all of them. Stan cherished his morning walks with his beloved dogs. He also enjoyed the morning coffee club at McDonalds. Stan was a member of Calvary Chapel in Appleton, WI.
Stan will be dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Phyllis Mocarski, of Kaukauna; four children: Jay (Tammy) Mocarski, Green Bay; Steve (Sue) Mocarski, Atlanta, GA; Dr. Jill Cooney, Whitefish Bay; Daniel Mocarski, Green Bay; six stepchildren: Keri Hehli, Mitch (Melissa), Bob (Heather), Linda, Paul and Pauline Schierland; a grandson whom they raised, Josh Schierland; 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his mother, Frances Mocarski ; a sister, Florence Krobis both of Milwaukee; and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his stepsister, Geraldine Bonk.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at Calvary Chapel, 2136 East Newberry St., Appleton, WI. with Pastor Dwight Douville officiating. A visitation will be Saturday at the church from 12 noon until the time of the service. Private burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton, WI. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. 920-766-2099
