Schwab, Lucille Marie
Lucille Marie Schwab, age 92, of Shiocton, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born on July 17, 1916 in Seymour, daughter of the late Fred and Frances (Windel) Wagner. She married Phillip Schwab and he preceded her in death in 2000. She lived and farmed in Navarino for 50 years and then moved to Shiocton. She then worked at the Toy Factory in Hortonville until her retirement. She loved gardening and all types of plants and flowers.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Obermeier, Shiocton; seven grandchildren: William Obermeier, Shiocton; Bonnie (Kevin) Kamba, New London; Sandra (Richard) Marcks, Shiocton; Lynn (Gene) Diermeier, Shiocton; James (Jill) Obermeier, Shiocton; Robert (Ann) Obermeier, Shiocton; Patricia (Thomas) Ahrens, Shiocton; 13 great-grandchildren: Amie, Erin, Nicholas, Joel, Melissa, McKenzie, Dylan, Jenna, Jacob, Renee, Bobbi Jo, Ashley, Cody; and four great-great-grandchildren; Aubree, Klayton, Owen, Sawyer; brother, Carl (Joan) Wagner, Isaar; sisters: Margaret (Joe) Vandenheuvel, Seymour; Dorothy Dimmers, Green Bay; Helen Hill, Isaar; Delores (Robert) Fleming, Shawano; Gladys (Gerold) Schaumberg, Seymour; Shirley (Eugene) Cropp, Seymour. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Wagner, two brothers-in-law, Irvin Dimmers and Fred Hill. Also a son-in-law Kenneth Obermeier.
The Funeral Mass for Lucille will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 11 a.m. at St. Denis Catholic Church in Shiocton with Fr. John Kastenholz and Sr. Pauline Feiner officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at Good Shepherd Home, Appleton Medical Center, Heartland Hospice and all who helped Lucille in any way.
