    Obituary:
    Douglas John Jeske, age 44, Denver, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2009, at his home. Douglas was born in Appleton, WI, on September 29, 1964, son of John and Joeleen (White) Jeske. Doug graduated from the University of Wisconsin as an electrical engineer. He lived and worked in Chicago for Shure Microphone Company before moving to Denver. There he worked for Hewlett Packard and Time Warner Cable as a test engineer. Music was a large part of Doug's life. His appreciation was apparent in his large and diverse collection. Mountain biking in Colorado wilderness was also special to him. Doug was an active Packer and Badger fan where he lived and he particularly enjoyed his friends and a fine microbrew.
    Doug is survived by his parents, grandmother, Agnes Jeske, Kaukauna, sisters, Amy (Burbach), Brookfield, WI, Jill (Kyle Bolton), St. Paul, MN, uncles, Ted (Greta) Jeske, Cook, MN, and Tom Jeske, Appleton, aunt, Byrl (Donald) Norlander, Virginia, MN, niece, Laura Burbach and nephew, Kevin Burbach. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and coworkers.
    A funeral liturgy for Doug will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 W. Lawrence St., Appleton, with David Belongea, OFM Cap. officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
