    Obituary:
    John F. Horn, 81, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away at Ministry - Door County Medical Center on August 19, 2011. He was born October 15, 1929, in Brillion, WI to Henry and Juanita (Luedtke) Horn. He served his country in the U. S. Army Reserves. John co-owned and operated Horn Ford Mercury Marine in Brillion for many years. On June 30, 1951 he married Marjorie Schnell in Forest Junction. During his life, John was active in a number of organizations, including the Ford National Dealer Council, the Ford Dealer Advertising Fund, the local Optimists Group and the Brillion Chamber of Commerce. John also had served as a director of the Calumet County Bank and as a director of the Brillion Housing Authority. He and his wife recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.
    Survivors include his wife Marjorie; two children, Lisa (Tom) Lodde, Milwaukee; James (Sandra) Horn, Bridgeport, CT; five grandchildren, John, Joseph, and Peter Lodde; Lydia and Madeline Horn; a sister, Helenjane Howard, Florida; three sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Beverly Horn, Harriet (Howard) Heimke and Janet Keller. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Jeanette (Roger) Rusch, a brother, Henry Horn, Jr.; two brothers-in-law, Dr. William Howard and Donald Schnell; a niece Heidi Horn.
    Memorial Services will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Hainesville Lutheran Church (3944 County M, Sturgeon Bay), Rev. Mike Zolnosky officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Hainesville Lutheran Church. Forbes Funeral Home is assisting the family.
