    Mrs. Fred Richards Dies at Age of 48
    NEENAH — Mrs. Fred K. Richards, 48, of 743 Cleveland St., died at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at her home following a long illness She resided at Fond du Lac, Iron Mountain. Mich., and Appleton before moving to Neenah four years ago. She was a member of St. Margaret- Mary Church
    Surviving are her husband; two sons, William and Robert at home; five brothers, the Rev. Marius Noe. Detroit, Mich., Eugene Noe of Fond du Lac, Harvey Noe of Appleton, John Noe of Fond du Lac and Phillip Noe serving in the armed forces; and two sisters, Mrs. James Heney, Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Robert Louchy, Milwaukee. The Rev. Joseph Glueckstein will officiate at funeral services at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Kessler Funeral Home and at 10 o'clock at St. Margaret - Mary Church. Burial will be in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 o'clock Tuesday.

    John J. Noe, 97, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at his residence.
    He was born July 18, 1914, in Oshkosh, Wis., the son of William and Josepha Eveslage Noe.
    John was a 1932 graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School.
    After graduation, he spent a year working at a CCC Camp. He then worked for Rueping Leather Co. until 1940.
    On Aug. 13, 1938, he married Lillian E. Buettner, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mt. Calvary, with John's brother, Fr. Marius Noe presiding.
    John was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from August 1943 to January 1946.
    John was a U.S. Letter Carrier for the Fond du Lac Post Office for 30 years, retiring in 1972. He was known on his route by the children as "Johnny the Mailman."
    He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church, where he participated in perpetual adoration for 25 years, and was a charter member. John was also a member of Knights of Columbus Council 664, and Trier-Puddy American Legion Post 75.
    He enjoyed golfing, bowl- ing, throwing horseshoes, dancing, camping, swimming, spending time with family, but most of all he loved his two grandchildren very much.
    Survivors include his wife, Lillian; two sons, Tom Noe, Eugene, Ore. and Paul (Judy) Noe, Fond du Lac; his two grandchildren, Taylor and Elise Noe; one sister, Delores Loche, Wauwatosa; two brothers, Eugene Noe, Fond du Lac and Harvey Noe, De Pere; sister-in-law, Genevieve Noe, Charleston, S.C.; nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Marie (Freddy) Richards, Fr. Marius Noe, Cathryn (James) Heaney and Philip Noe; two sisters-in-law, Florence Noe and Pearl Noe; and bro-ther-in-law, Robert Loche.
    VISITATION: Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish.
    SERVICES: The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
    Inurnment will take place a Calvary Cemetery, at a later date.

    Harvey J. Noe, age 93, of Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Bornemann Nursing Home. He was born on February 15, 1919, in Fond du Lac, the son of the late William and Josepha (Eveslage) Noe. During WWII, Harvey served in the U.S. Air Force, including 15 months on Saipan Island in the Pacific. He was a member of the Johnston-Blessman Post 38 American Legion in Appleton. On September 28, 1946, he married Pearl Marvin. They lived in Appleton from 1952 until Pearl passed away in 2003. Harvey worked for the Singer Sewing Machine Company for over 30 years, retiring in December of 1978.
    Harvey is survived by his son: Rick (Mary) Noe of Green Bay; grandson: Daniel Noe of Ashwaubenon; granddaughters: Katie (Dusty) Haupt of Marietta, Georgia and Jennifer (Kevin) Haro of Milwaukee; great-granddaughter: Sofia Haro; brother: Eugene Noe of Fond du Lac; sister: Dolores Loche of Wauwatosa and sister-in-law: Genevieve Noe of Charleston, South Carolina. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Noe; granddaughter, Victoria Noe; sisters: Marie (Fred) Richards and Catherine (James) Heaney; brothers: Fr. Marius Noe, OFM Cap., John (Lillian) Noe and Philip Noe; sister-in-law, Florence Noe, and brother-in-law, Robert Loche.
    The funeral liturgy for Harvey will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 13, 2012 at St. Bernard Congregation, 2040 Hillside Lane, Green Bay. Fr. Mark Vander Steeg will be officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. A visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 1:00 pm until time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.

    FOND DU LAC — (U.P.)— Coroner R. S. Timmons said here to- day that no inquest would be called in the death of Richard Noe, 6-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Noe. The boy became Fond du Lac's first 1943 traffic fatality when a telephone company truck ran over him as it was being backed out of a driveway near his home. Driver George V. Grant said he could not see the youngster.
