    Obituary:
    Luoine A. Kafka, 102 of Clintonville passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at the Odd Fellow Home, Green Bay.
    Luoine was born on Feb. 13, 1911, in the Township of Larrabee, Waupaca County, the daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Lange) Tanner. She graduated from Clintonville High School and went on to secretarial school in Milwaukee. There she worked at the Trade Press until returning to Clintonville with her family. Luoine met John H. Kafka who was working and playing football for the FWD Corporation in Clintonville. In 1932, they were married at the Methodist Church, Clintonville. The couple continued to live in Clintonville where Luoine worked for many years for the Clintonville Tribune Gazette newspaper. She was a life-long active member of the United Methodist Church, Clintonville and a charter member of the Clintonville Historical Society. Her hobbies included reading, collecting antiques, traveling, playing piano, gardening, fishing and playing cards with her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed her bridge club, Marathon Bridge Group and Sheepshead Club.
    She will be missed by her family: daughters, Gail (Michael) Cain, Wausau; Vickie (Randall) Keigley, Green Bay; son, Russell (Kery) Kafka, Milwaukee; grandchildren, Meghan Koven, Matthew (Amy) Cain, Leah Cain Long, and Benjamin Keigley; great-grandchildren, Grey Long, Madelynn, Elizabeth and Emma Cain; sister-in-law, Blanche Kafka, Antigo; nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John in 1991 after 58 years of marriage; sister, Noreen Bauer; brothers, Wheaton, Russell and twin brother, Lowell Tanner.
    Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at the United Methodist Church, Clintonville, with the Rev. Keith Wolf officiating. Interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville.
    Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church, Clintonville or the Clintonville Historical Society.
    The Kafka family wishes to thank the staff at the Odd Fellow Home, Green Bay, for their kind care of Lou during her last years.
