Obituary:
Killian, Mark J., El Segundo, California Died October 23, 2001 at his home. Mark was born June 12, 1936 in Kaukaun a, the son of Joseph and Elsie Killian, deceased. He is survived by his br others: Richard Killian, Kaukauna; Wayne Killian, Oak Creek, Wisconsin; a nd his beloved friend, Allen, Los Angeles. He graduated from Kaukauna Hi gh School and the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Engineering. Fo llowing graduation in 1958 he moved to El Segundo where he began his care er with North American Aviation. Mark received military training with t he U.S. Army Reserves at Fort Ord, California in 1959. After his traini ng he resumed his career as an Engineering Systems programmer until his re tirement from Rockwell International in June 1998. He was a volunteer inst ructor for a special program designed by his company for high school stude nts from the Los Angeles Unified Schools interested in scientific comput er technology. Mark was well read and traveled throughout the U.S. visiti ng famous landmarks. His favorite was Sequoia National Park. Mark was quie tly compassionate and very dedicated in all of his relationships, always w illing to go beyond the call of duty to help a neighbor and give aid to an yone in need. He will be greatly missed by many friends in the Los Angel es South Bay area. Private internment: Inglewood Cemetery, Inglewood, Cali fornia.
