    Beatrice "Bea" Broeren, 83, Ashwaubenon resident, died unexpectedly at St. Mary's Hospital on Saturday, July 22, 2017.
    Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. from 4:00-7:00 pm Sunday. The evening will close with a parish wake service at 7:00 pm Sunday. Visitation will continue on Monday after 9:30 am at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 S. Oneida St. until time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Monday at the church with Rev. Michael Ingold officiating. Burial in St. Paul's Church Cemetery, Wrightstown. Online condolences may be sent to Bea's family at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of floral expressions a memorial fund has been established in Bea's name.

    Beatrice "Bea" Broeren, 83, Ashwaubenon resident, died unexpectedly at St. Mary's Hospital on Saturday, July 22, 2017. She was born January 14, 1934, in Wrightstown, to the late Gordon and Margaret (Rademacher) Remmel. Bea graduated from Wrightstown High School in 1951. Following high school, she attended St. Agnes School of Nursing in Fond du Lac, graduating in 1954 as a Registered Nurse. Bea married Eugene Broeren on November 28, 1957 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Wrightstown. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1997. She was employed as a registered nurse at St. Mary's Hospital her entire career. Bea and Gene enjoyed traveling the world and never missed the opportunity to play a game of bridge with family and friends. Her pride and joy was her family and every year she looked forward to the annual summer vacation in northern Wisconsin.
    She is survived by five children: Theodore "Ted" (Lori) Broeren, Town of Scott; Anthony "Tony" (Lisa) Broeren, Port St. Lucie, FL; Stephen "Steve" (Gina) Broeren, Hudson, WI; Janet (Robert) Jancaus, Lake Zurich IL; Jeanne (Scott) Juve, Appleton; seven grandchildren: Tyler and Lexi Juve, Cassy, Ted Jr and Maggie Broeren, Kathryn and Joe Jancaus; sister-in-law, Marilyn Remmel, Brookfield; nephew, Michael (Debbie) Remmel; niece, Sarah Remmel; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Paul Broeren, Appleton; Ed (Jackie) Broeren, Kaukauna; Bill (Pearl)Broeren, Combined Locks; George (Karen) Broeren, Kaukauna; Paul Bedard, Aloha, OR; Alice Broeren, Chicago, IL and Kathy (Tom) Sarconi, CO as well as many nieces and nephews in the Broeren family.
    She was preceded in death by an infant son, Mark, her brother Jerry Remmel; sisters-in-law: Theresa (Carl) Dahms; Alverne Broeren; Eileen Bedard and Mary Ann (George) Van De Coevering; brother-in-law, Tom (Joyce) Broeren.

    Bea's family would like to thank all the caregivers at the Woodside care facilities , who over the past year, nursed Bea back to health, kept her comfortable and made sure she knew someone was always there.
