    Obituary:
    James Darrell Guyette, age 82, loving husband and great dad, of Shiocton, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. He was born on June 26, 1935 to the late Cleveland and Fern (Goman) Guyette in the Town of Maple Creek. He was united in marriage to Deneka Brown on October 12, 1954. Jim loved his family and his church and was a devoted lifetime member of St. Denis Parish. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed playing cards and having breakfast with his buddies. Jim was a passionate gardener and was the creator of Jim Dandy Maple Syrup. He worked for many years at the Neenah Foundry and Bay Area Castings and was also proud to be the Town of Maine Chairman.
    Jim is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Deneka; his children, Lynne Pettit, Dan Guyette, Mary (Dick) Clausen, Patrick (Mary Beth) Guyette, Sally (Russell) Affeldt, Jane (David) Trosin, Jill (Neal) Krohlow; grandchildren, Lycretia, Adrianna, Janelle, Alex, Fred, Hannah, Josh, Natalie, Nash, Jennah, Isaac, Adam, Mary, Grace, Samuel, Bridget and Joseph; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Leonard (Kay) Guyette; in-laws, Germaine Croell, Nancy Allen, Russell (Diana) Brown, David (Pat) Brown and Lee Beattie. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
    Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters and son-in-law, Dave Pettit.
    A memorial service for Jim will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Shiocton. Fr. Richard Allen and Deacon Ken Bilgrien will be officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service directly at the church on Saturday.
    The family wishes to thank Affinity Hospice for all of their care and concern of Jim.
