    Obituary:
    Thyssen, Martin Formerly of 610 Reed Street, Neenah, age 88, died Friday, February 15, 20 02 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah after a brief illness. He was bo rn February 21, 1913 in Little Chute, son of Walter and Mary (Hendricks) T hyssen. Martin married Lillian Vanevenhoven, October 29, 1938 at St. Jose ph Parish in Appleton. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Churc h, Neenah. Martin was employed for 37 years by the Neenah Foundry, retiri ng in 1975. He was highly respected as Superintendent of Plant #3. Mart in had 2 holes in 1 in his golfing career at Ridgeway Country Club. He lov ed being with his family, fishing on the Wolf River with his brothers; squ are dancing and raising his special Ox Heart tomato plants. In retiremen t, he and his wife volunteered at the Golden Age Club in Appleton; traveli ng, playing cards and water exercise at the Neenah YMCA. He possessed crea tive woodworking talents and enjoyed assisting with carpentry jobs for fam ily and friends. Martin was a deeply spiritual, gentle, and compassiona te person. He attended mass daily and meeting with his generous wishe s, he was a bone and tissue donor. Martin is survived by his wife, Lillia n; his daughters: Mary Pat (Carl) Thomson, Sherwood; Jean (David) Muelle r, Neenah; his grandchildren: Jacqueline (Dennis) Thomson-Ehlers, Paul (Br enda) Thomson, both of Appleton; Tony (Theresa) Mueller, Sun Prairie; Tam my (Daniel) Mueller-Raymond, Brown Deer; his great-grandchildren: Andre a, Matthew and Rachel Ehlers; Mitchell, Selenna and Maria Thomson; McKen na Mueller; plus numerous nieces and nephews. Brothers-in-law and sisters- in-law: Paul Hietpas, Rochester, Minnesota; Harriet Thyssen, Kimberly; Ani ta Thyssen, Mackville; Orville (Alma) Vanevenhoven, Kaukauna; Frances Viss ers, Menasha; Evelyn (James) Hermes, Little Chute; Nellie Vanevenhoven, Li ttle Chute; Harriet Vanevenhoven, Kaukauna. Mr. Thyssen was preceded in de ath by his parents, five sisters: Johanna (Henry) Van Oudenhoven, Sister A nn Thyssen, Catherine (Lester) Plutz, Ethel (Paul) Hietpas, Gertrude (Joh n) Linskens; six brothers: John Thyssen, Nicholas (Ann) Thyssen, William ( Eleanor) Thyssen, George, Raymond and Arnold Thyssen; brothers-in-law a nd sisters-in-law: Raymond and Rita Vanevenhoven, Willard Vissers, Mart ha and Ervin Vanevenhoven, Arthur and Henry Vanevenhoven.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2002 at St. Margar et Mary Church with Rev. Roy Geenen officiating. Interment will be in S t. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 a. m. Monday until the time of the mass.     Obituary:
    Jean A. Mueller, 73, Neenah, passed away at home on Sunday, May 7, 2017. She was born on August 22, 1943, in Neenah, the daughter of Martin and Lillian (VanEvenHoven) Thyssen. Jean graduated from St. Mary High School, the Class of 1961. She was united in marriage on February 9, 1962, in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. Jean was a talented artist and painter, and loved to travel cross country on motorcycle. She will be remembered most for her love and dedication to her family, church, St. Margaret Mary Catholic Parish, Neenah, and Parkinson's research.
    Jean is survived by her husband: Dave; 2 children: Anthony (Shari) Mueller and Tammy (Mueller) Raymond; granddaughter: McKenna Mueller; a sister: Mary Pat (Carl) Thomson; and many other relatives and friends.
    Jean was preceded in death by her parents.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 12, 2017, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to The Michael J. Fox Foundation , P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014, www.michaeljfox.org.
    Jean's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Froedert and the Medical College of Wisconsin for all of their assistance with her Parkinson's treatment.
