    See image Mrs. David O'Connell; Mrs. Anna O'Connell, wife of David O'Connell, died at the family home on Seventh St. Monday morning at 3:45 after an illness of several months. Deceased was 53 years of age. She was born in Hollandtown in 1859 and was married in 1886 to David O'Connell at Marinette by the Rt. Rev. Bishop J.J. Fox of Green Bay. Mr. & Mrs. O'Connell came to Kaukauna in 1891 where they have since resided. Deceased is survived by her husband and five children, namely William, Margaret, David, Richard and James also by two brothers and two sisters, John Powers of Unity; Richard Powers and Mrs. Sarah Wilpolt of this city and Mrs. Patterson of British Columbia. Mrs. O'Connell was a member of Sacred Heart Court of the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters and a member of the Altar Society of St. Mary's Church. She was a devout christian and a kind and loving mother and wife and will be sadly missed in the family circle. The funeral was held yesterday morning at 9 o clo ck from St. Mary's Church with inturnment in the parish cemetery. Among those who attended the funeral from out-of-town were

She was born April 8, 1891 in Marinette, and mov ed to Kaukauna as an infant, with her parents the later David and Ann Powe rs O'Connell. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Kaukauna. Survivors i nclude two brothers, David F., Manitowoc; and James J. East Chicago, INd .; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brother s, William A. and Richard J. The funeral will be at 10 am Wednesday at S t. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with their Reverend Charles Frederic ks officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.     See Image David F. O'Connell, 92, formerly of 607A Chicago St. Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening March 26, at Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church preceded by brief family rites at 9:30 a.m. at Urban? and Schel Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. William Zimmer will officiate and burial will be at St. Mary cemetery, Kaukauna. Mr. O'Connell was born January 29, 1894 at Kaukauna, Wisconsin, son of the late David and Ana Powers O'Connell. He grew up and was educated in Kaukauna and as a young man worked for Chicago & Northwestern Railroad, living in various cities in the Fox River Valley before moving to Milwaukee in 1920 (or 1930, hard to read) He lived in Milwaukee until 1951 and while there he was manager of various A & P Grocery Stores. In 1951 Mr. O'Connelll moved to Janesville, Wisconsin and while there owned a retail grocery store until his retirement in 1963. In 1963, Mr. O'Connell moved to Wausau, Wisconsin and later in 1966? moved to Manitowoc where he has lived since. He married Margurite M. Christiansen on June 24, 1920, by Rev. Luby at Sacred Heart Catholic church, Manitowoc. The couple had just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in 1985. Mr. O'Connell was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Margurite; a brother, James O'Connell of East Chicago, Ind., nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

    Agnes R. Turriff, 94, longtime De Pere resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. The daughter of the late William J. and Rose (Robach) OConnell was born on August 31, 1917 in Green Bay. She was proud of the wonderful Irish Heritage that her parents instilled in her during her lifetime. She graduated from Green Bay West High School Class of 1935. Agnes married Norbert Turriff in 1941 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Green Bay. She worked for the Norbertine Order for 34 years. She enjoyed knitting, crafts and needlepoint. Agnes is a member of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, De Pere and the Altar Rosary Society at the church.Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Tom (JoAnn) Turriff, De Pere. Two grandchildren and their families; Susan (Steve) Parsons, Kaitlin and Colton, Neenah; William (Cindy) Turriff, Courtney and Allison, Fort Wayne, Indiana. As a representative of the Calumet Builders' Association, Richard was a trustee of the construction advancement Foundation from September 1975 to September 1983. He served as president of the Calumet builders of Lake County from 1981 to 1983. He was a past president of the Perdue Club of Lake County and passed a member of the Hammond Optimist Club and TradeWinds. Richard also served as president and vice president of the Culver Academy’s parents Association in Culver, an Indiana, from 1991 to 1993. He was a member of the Briar Ridge Country Club in Schererville, in the Canyon Country Club in Palm Springs, California.
