Audrey M. Weber, age 84, of the town of Vinland, passed away peacefully to eternal life with family at her side Friday, January 30, 2015, at the home of her daughter and caretaker.
She was born May 25, 1930, in Neenah to the late Bruno and Mary (Luebke) Zeinert. Audrey was a 1948 graduate of Neenah High School. On August 21, 1948, she married the love of her life John William Weber, Jr. Together they farmed side by side until 1992 when the cows were sold due to John's health. She was a member of St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oshkosh, and the Vinland Center Homemaker's for over 60 years, Four Season Study Club, and Winnebago Holstein Association. Audrey volunteered at Bethesda Thrift Store, made quilts with church ladies, loved to sew, bake, can, make crafts, and help her children and grandchildren with 4-H dairy and beef projects. The bird feeders were placed at the window to enjoy an array of feathered friends. Audrey's greatest joys were visits from family, neighbors, and friends, especially her great-grandchildren who always brought her smiles, farm life, dancing, and flower gardens.
