Meulemans, Arlyn F. "Cy" 1050 Fourth Street Fond du Lac, Wisconsin
Age 64, began eternal life on July 26, 2002.A U.S. Army veteran, Arlyn was born and raised in Wrightstown, graduati ng from Wrightstown High School in 1956. He moved to Fond du Lac to beg in a 42-year career in refrigeration manufacturing, installation and servi ce. Arlyn was service manager for Hansen Machinery, Fond du Lac, at the ti me of his passing.Arlyn is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia (Hart) whom he married ov er 42 years ago at St. Patrick's Church in Askeaton, WI, his three sons, T om (Arunee) of Fond du Lac, Terry (Nancy) of Fond du Lac, and Steve (Les a) of New Berlin, three grandchildren, who called Arlyn Pa Pa, Matt, Maris a, and Lauren. He is further survived by a sister, Dorothy (Mel, decease d) Biese of Kimberly, three brothers, Ken (Pearl) of Denver, Colorado, Ger ald (Doris) of West Bend and Roy (Bonnie) of Oshkosh. Other survivors incl ude, a sister-in-law, Rosemary Meulemans of Wrightstown, many nieces, neph ews, cousins, the Bob Strobel family and a special group of in-laws, Jim a nd Phyllis (Hart) Hoogland of Ashwaubenon, Vern and Karen (Hart) Demera th of Wrightstown and Don and Noreen (Hart) Van Zeeland of Kaukauna.He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Marion (Vandenberg) Me ulemans, of Wrightstown, two brothers, Don of Wrightstown and Vincent of T exas.Arlyn and Pat belong to Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church, and the H oly Name Society. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #6 64 and a member of the Columbian Club Board. Arlyn participated in ma ny of his children's activities as a Cub Scout master, earning the St. Geo rge Award, and coaching various teams. He was an avid Packer fan, attendi ng his first game in the early 40's and has been a season ticket holder si nce 1957. Arlyn enjoyed time with his family-especially at the family cott age- and was an accomplished bowler.A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday July 30, 2 002 at Holy Family Parish, Sacred Heart Church, Fond du Lac. Rev. Jerome W agner, Rev. Carl Meulemans, his cousin, and Pastor Paul Pfeffer will offic iate. Entombment will be in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calv ary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Zacherl Fu neral Home, where a parish vigil service will be held at 6:00 P.M.
