    Lamers, Florence Loretta, (Pet erson), KimberlyAge 79, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at Appleton Medical Center su rrounded by her children. She was born on May 29, 1923 in Sherwood to Char les and Thresa (Micke) Peterson. Florence married Jake Lamers on June 1, 1 943 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sherwood. He preceded her in dea th on January 22, 2003. The couple farmed near Kimberly, then at Mackvil le from 1954 until 1958 when they moved to Kimberly. Florence was a devot ed wife and mother. After her children were raised, she worked as an elder ly home aid for Outagamie County, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Ho ly Name Parish. Florence enjoyed flowers, needlepoint, poetry, classical m usic, card games and she was an accomplished writer and Scrabble player. S he was a dear soul, always placing the needs of other before her own.Florence is survived by her loving children, Judy (Dennis) Schumacher, Wri ghtstown; Ralph "Sam"(Mary) Lamers, Kimberly; Diane (Pat) Piette, Oshkos h; Sharry Vander Velden, Kimberly; Al (Debbie) Lamers, Darboy; Tracey Lame rs, Verona; Chris (Jean) Lamers, Kaukauna; a daughter-in-law Nancy Lamer s, Oshkosh; 19 Grandchildren: Laurie (Len) Fredrickson, Marty (Fianc, Nore en) Schumacher, Brett Lamers, Kim (Chris) Lindroth, Luke (Mari), Mike (Sta cy) and Joe Lamers; Charlie and Andy Piette; Jake (Breyann) Vander Velde n, Clayton and Ross Vander Velden; Brad, Abby, Rachel and Zak Lamers; Rebe cca, Nathan and Matthew Lamers; and 9 great-grandchildren.She is further survived by her sisters and sisters-in-law: Ethel Krieck, L ittle Chute, Pat Vandeyacht, Kaukauna, Lilas (Milford) Roehrborn, Kaukaun a, Ida (Ray) Vanden Langenberg, Green Bay, Marie Peterson, Appleton and Do rothy Peterson, Black Creek; Jake's sister and brothers: Agnes Coonen, Kau kauna; John (Germaine) Lamers, Kimberly and Art (Leone) Lamers, Kaukaun a; her pen pal of 64 years, Jean Evanich, and many nieces, nephews and fri ends.Florence was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her step-mothe r, Millie Peterson, two sons: Mike in 1971 and Jim in 2001; two brother s: Robert and Charles Peterson, and a sister, Carol Van Laarhoven.Friends may call on Friday, May 9, 2003, at Holy Name Catholic Church, 6 00 E.     Ralph Robert "Sam" Lamers, age 70, died at his Kimberly home on Sept. 13, 2017. Sam was born May 1, 1947 to Jacob and Florence (Peterson) Lamers. He was married to Mary Ann (Gossens) Lamers for 49 years.
    Sam graduated from Kimberly High School in 1965 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and was then drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War.
    Sam was a dedicated employee of the Kimberly paper mill for over 30 years, known for his work ethic and friendliness. He was an active member of Holy Spirit Parish.
    Sam loved spending time with family, biking, sports, playing cards and having coffee with his incredible group of friends. There is so much more, but Sam said keep it simple.
    Sam will be sadly missed by, his wife Mary, children: Kim Lamers and her sons Alec and Paul, Dr. Luke and Dr. Mari (Schulz) Lamers and their sons Jacob, Nathan and Luke, Dr. Michael and Dr. Stacy (Simons) Lamers and their sons Samuel and Ethan, Joe and Sandra (Hernandez) Lamers and their daughter Lucia, siblings: Jude and Dennis Schumacher, Nancy (Oast) Lamers, Diane and Pat Piette, Sherry Vander Velden, Al and Debbie Lamers, Tracey Lamers, Chris & Jean Lamers, in Laws: Marlene & Tom Kloiber, Paul & Bonnie Gossens, Tom & Margaret Gossens, JoAnn & Dave Manley and Jean & Don Erdmann. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
    Preceding him in death were parents Jacob and Florence and brothers Michael and Jim, in laws Frank and Charlotte Gossens.
    Funeral Mass for Sam will be on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 4:00pm at Holy Spirit/Holy Name Catholic Church, 600 East Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating.     820 East First St., Kimberly Age 21, passed away unexpectedly at 11:20 a. m. Friday morning. He was born in Appleton July 7, 1950. He was a student at Oshkosh State University. Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob S.
