    Huss, Clifford N., 1302 Nass au Street, New LondonAge 73, died Sunday, May 25, 2003 following a lingering illness. He was bo rn on July 21, 1930 in New London, son of the late Nick and Lillian (Vette r) Huss. On January 6, 1951 he married Julia Lapp in New London. Cliff w as a lifelong resident of New London and a member of Emanuel Lutheran Chur ch. He was formerly employed at Cline and Hanson's as a funeral director/e mbalmer and was also well known in the area as an expert flooring installe r. He worked at Hillshire Farm until his retirement in 1992. Cliff also op erated Sonny's Sharpening Service for many years. He served his count ry in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a lif etime member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. Survivors include h is wife, Julia; one daughter, Debra (Ted) Feurig, New London; one son, Tho mas (Dorie)Huss, New London; also five grandchildren and two great grandso ns. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, David. As per Cliff 's wishes, private family services will be held. His body will be interr ed in the Floral Hill Cemetery.
