    Robert E. "Bob" Meyer Sr., 85, Greenleaf, passed away on October 29, 2013 at his home after battling COPD for 15 years. Bob was born on November 3, 1927. He served in the US Army from 1946-1949. He was honorably discharged holding the rank of Quarter Master. He attended Barber College in Green Bay. In 1958 he bagan working for the Appleton Fire Department and he retired in 1983. On his off days from the fire department he also worked for 25 years at SC Shannon unloading trucks. On August 1, 1973 he married his best friend and favorite cook, Blanche. He loved fishing at his favorite lake, Pike Lake near Hiles Wisconsin.
    He is survived by his wife Blanche, children: Kathy (Mike) Jensen, Patsy (Mike) Fieweger, Robert (Rita) Meyer, Jr., step-children Denice (Joe) Fritsch, Patrick Tennessen, Carlos (Kathy) Tennessen, Alan (Patty) Tennessen, 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Mary (Ron) Siebers, Grace (John) Mac Lean, James "Chico" (Carol) Meyer, brother-in-law Roger Krueger, close friend Omar Seely as well as many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by: son Hank Meyer, step-son Paul Tennessen, sisters: Nancy (Gene) Strube and Betty Krueger, close friends Bud Yentz and Marty Joseph.
    Funeral Services for Bob will be Friday, November 1, 2013 at St. Katherine Drexel Parish, St. Mary Site, 119 W. 7th Street, Kaukauna at 11:00 am with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Visitation will be at Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County location on Oneida Street, Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and at church on Friday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Interment at Highland Memorial Park. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.

    Meyer, Henry S. “Hank”Henry S. “Hank” Meyer, age 54, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly at h is home on March 30, 2004. Hank was born on January 14, 1950 in Applet on to Robert Sr. and Phyllis Meyer. He graduated from Appleton West High S chool in 1968. Hank worked as a bartender in the Appleton flats for many y ears. He was an avid collector of rock and roll albums and a sports aficio nado. He also enjoyed eating his culinary delights.Survivors include his mother, Phyllis, Appleton; father, Robert Sr. (Blanc he), Green leaf; his siblings: Kathy (Mike) Jensen, Stillwater, MN; Mike ( Pat) Fieweger, Wisconsin Rapids; and Robert Jr. (Rita), Kaukauna. He is fu rther survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.Hank was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henry and Mart ha Meyer; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Edna Meyer.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 11 a.m. at t he funeral home with Pastor Steven Blackstock officiating. Visitation wi ll begin at 10 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take pla ce in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.
