Obituary:
Lawrence Jandrey, age 87, of Kaukauna, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Cherry Meadows. He was born on July 30, 1926 in the Town of Rantoul, the son of the late Charles and Minnie (Wunrow) Jandrey. On June 19, 1976, Larry married Lucina (Hartjes) Kerkhoff at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Kaukauna. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the Johnston-Blessman Post #38 American Legion. Larry served his country in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a steamfitter and pipefitter at many businesses in the area. Larry belonged to the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 400. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Larry is survived by his wife Lucina; children: Larry Jr. Jandrey, Ron (Kaye) Jandrey, Tim (Janine) Jandrey, Major Bruce Jandrey USAF, retired, Nancy (Daniel) Appleton, Roger (Kathie) Kerkhoff, and Gary (Ginger) Kerkhoff; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings: Lorraine Dickert (Larry's twin sister), Donald (Muriel) Jandrey, Doris Jandrey, and William (Cheryle) Jandrey; and sisters-in-law: Janice, Shirley, and Sophia Jandrey. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his first wife Audrey, brothers Glenroy, Charles, and Eugene Jandrey; and brother-in-law Willard Dickert.
The funeral service for Larry will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 28, 2014 at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2220 E. College Avenue in Appleton. Rev. Martin E. Koeller and Rev. Timothy Seabaugh will be officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Online condolences can be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
