    Andrew (Andy) Joseph Vosters, W2681 North Crest Drive, Kaukauna, WI 5413 0, age 88, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2nd. His wi fe and children were at his side. He was greeted there by his brother Erne st who died 1-1-06 and his brother-in-law Reverend Earl Schuh who died 12- 27-05. He was born on February 7th, 1917, in Freedom, Wisconsin, the s on of the late Martin and Anna (De Groot) Vosters. He married Calixta Sch uh on November 13th, 1947, and they shared 58 years together. They farm ed in the town of Grand Chute from 1950 to 1980. He was a lifetime memb er of St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute. He honored his country by se rving in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1941 to 1945. He fought ba ttles in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Euro pe and the Battle of the Bulge. He received the American Defense Service R ibbon, European, African, Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with one Silver Ba ttle Star. He also received four overseas service bars, one service stri pe and a good conduct medal.Andy spent most of his lifetime farming in which he took great pride and j oy. He enjoyed being close to nature working with the animals and tilli ng the soil. He also helped several of his children establish themselv es in farming along with lending a helping hand to anyone who needed hi m. While farming, he was a member in numerous farm organizations and coope ratives. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 258, First Degr ee Knight of Columbus, Holy Name Society, a life member of Father Solan us Guild and the Sacred Heart League. Family gatherings were always specia l, as was the time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grand children. Playing cards with family and friends was a favorite pastime.
    He is survived by his wife Calixta Vosters. He is further survived by thr ee daughters: Anna (Pat) Schadrie of Legend Lake, and their five childre n: Brian (Candace) Schadrie, Jodie (Mike) Madison, Stacey (Jason) Rottie r, Eric (Lacey) Schadrie, and Julie Schadrie; Marlene (Carl) Boucher, Sher wood and their four children: Amy (Mike) McGowan, Andy (Jolene)Boucher, An gela and Alissa Boucher. Elaine (Bruce) Diedrick, Freedom and their thr ee children: Jeff (Fiance Amy Schaefer), Christina (Jason) Presteen and Am anda Diedrick. He is also survived by two sons, Marv (Patti) Vosters of Ap pleton and their four children: Jenny (Nick) Schaumberg, Joe, Adam, and Do ug Vosters; Vic (Michelle) Vosters of Appleton and their five children: Ja mes, Zachary, Issac, Richard, and Michaela Vosters. He is further surviv ed by fifteen great-grandchildren, Jared, Jordan, Gracie Schadrie, Cale b, Brady, and Cecelia Madison, Jaden, Jackson, and Alex Rottier, Trista Sc hadrie, Gavin and Sophia McGowan, Carson, Griffin and Avarie Boucher. An dy is also further survived by five brothers and their wives, Sylvester (J ane), Norbert (Marion), Gilbert (Isabelle), Arthur and Simon Vosters; o ne sister and her husband, Theresa (Lambert) Spierings. He is also surviv ed by one sister-in-law Jen Vosters; two brothers-in-law and their wive s, Peter (Ceil) Schuh, and Art (Millie) Schuh and two sisters-in-law, Hel en and Ceil Schuh.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Anna Vosters; grands on Steve Vosters, his brothers: Wilfred and Ernest, and two sisters and th eir husbands, Elizabeth (Norbert) Becker and Agnes (Gordon) Vande Hey, t wo sisters in law, Eunice and Arlene Vosters. He was also preceded in dea th by his wife's family, brothers and sisters in law, Clem, Ignatius (Mart ha), Raymond (Bertha) Servanus, Gus (Agnes), Reverend Earl Schuh, Clara (C asper) Schauer and Anna (Henry) Vosters.
    Andy's Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Saturday January 7, 200 6, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, with Fr. Patri ck Beno officiating. Friends will be received on FRIDAY at the Boettcher F amily Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna from 3 p.m. until t he Parish Prayer service at 8 p.m. and again on SATURDAY at Church fr om 9 a.m. until the time of service. Full military burial rites will be pr eformed by American Legion Post No. 258 outside of Church following Andy 's service and burial will follow in St. John Catholic cemetery. A memori al fund has been established.
    The family would like to express a special thank you to Rachael and the st aff of Affinity Hospice.
    Andrew was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-gran dfather, who was dearly admired by his family. Even though he was sma ll in stature, he had a big heart. He was known to everyone as a gentle a nd loving person. The twinkle in his eyes spoke of the love in his hear t. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. Our memo ries of the many special times he shared with us will remain in our hear ts forever.

    Vosters, Steve, AppletonAge 20, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 21, 2002 as the result of a moto-cr oss accident. He was born March 26, 1982 in Appleton; the son of Marv in N. and Patti (Van De Loo) Vosters. Steve graduated from Appleton Nort h, class of 2000. He was employed by Warehouse Specialists. Steve enjoy ed playing sheepshead, wrestling, working on cars, and snowmobiling, but h is love of his life was moto-cross racing. He was a member of St. John Cat holic Church, Little Chute and American Motocross Association.He is survived by his parents, Marvin and Patti Vosters, Appleton; three b rothers: Joe Vosters, Adam Vosters, and Doug Vosters, all of Appleton; a s ister, Jenny Vosters (fiance Nick Schaumberg), Appleton; maternal grandfat her, Robert Van De Loo, Kaukauna; and paternal grandparents, Andrew and Ca lixta Vosters, Kaukauna. He is further survived by his aunts and uncles: A nn (Pat) Schadrie, Marlene (Carl) Boucher, Elaine (Bruce) Diedrick, Vic (M ichelle) Vosters, Peg (Mark) Lasee, Jack (Anne) Van De Lee, Mary (Dan) Geu rts, Tom Van De Loo and Eileen Rueden, Judy (Dan) Eiting, Diane (Bart) Meu lemans, Paul (Molly) Van De Loo, Dave Van De Loo, Ann (Mike) Ryan, Bob (Li sa) Van De Loo; and numerous cousins and special racing friends. He was pr eceded in death by maternal grandmother, Della Van De Loo.Steve cared very much for others so much so, that he donated his organs a nd tissues to help others.The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Catholic Ch urch, Little Chute with Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Burial wi ll be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Boettcher Family Fun eral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, and af ter 9 a.m. Thursday at the church until the time of services. A parish pra yer service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday. A memorial fund has been establis hed in his name.After his races, Steve always said ... “I was flying out there.” N ow he is flying higher than ever before with our Father in Heaven.
