    Obituary:
    Mark L. Buchinger, Appleton, Formerly of Kaukauna, age 85, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013, at Cherry Meadows. Mark was born March 17, 1927, in Kaukauna, son of the late Michael and Margaret (Jaeckels) Buchinger. He was a graduate of Kaukauna High School, Class of 1945. On September 19, 1950 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Meulemans. Mark farmed with his wife and daughters in the Kaukauna area for nearly 50 years before retiring to Kimberly in 1993. He was an active member of Sacred Heart Church in Sherwood, serving on the finance committee and was a member of the Sherwood Lions Club. He and Dorothy were past members of the Sherwood Senior Citizens, where they enjoyed many fun-filled Wednesdays of lunch and cards. Through the years, they enjoyed their card playing groups, Friday night fish frys, and reminiscing with family, friends, and neighbors. He has passed on his "tractor and farming tales" to the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. While in Kimberly, Mark joined the Kimberly Kiwanis Club and became a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
    He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy; three daughters and sons-in-law: Marge (Leon) Schilling, Judy (Bob) Piel, and Karen (Charles) Engel; seven grandchildren: Jennifer Schilling, Scott (Deborah) Schilling, Amy (Brian) Randall, Cathy (Adam) Olig, Charlie (Ashley) Engel, Robert Engel, and Michael Engel (Special friend Tabitha); six great-grandchildren: Zach and Zoe Schilling, Nicholas and Lucas Randall, Sonya and Emmett Olig; two sisters: Catherine (Louie) Seegers and Mary Margaret Schmitt; a sister-in-law, Jean Buchinger. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and six sisters-in-law: John and Helen, Michael and Beatrice, Edmund and Betty, Leo and Rita, Paul and Jeanette, Richard, Carl and Marion; two sisters: Barbara Horn and Anna Ceil Buchinger; and three brothers-in-law: Joseph Popp, Bernard Schmitt, and Norbert Horn.
    Mass of Christian Burial for Mark will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 602 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly with Fr. Dave Beaudry and Fr. Ken Frozena concelebrating. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 concluding the evening. Friends may call again on Thursday directly at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Mark's name.
    The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staffs of Heritage, Peabody, and Cherry Meadows for their compassionate care and concern
