Nan cy was born in Appleton, September 28, 1933, daughter of the late Jun us R. and Esther M. (Pasch) Stevens. She attended Appleton High Schoo l. On March 12, 1952, she married her high-school sweetheart, Richard “Dic k” Dorschner in Madison, WI, enjoying over 52 years of marriage. Nancy a nd Dick preferred she stay at home and take care of her family. She work ed at Treasure Island Department Store for over 10 years when her childr en were older. Nancy’s favorite activities besides family gatherings inclu de gardening, her love of animals, listening to music and taking vacatio ns to Las Vegas, besides the day trips to the casinos.Nancy is survived by her husband, Dick, and their five children: Bruce “Ri ck” (Susan), Town of Clayton; Randy (Bill) Alford, Appleton; Scott (Linda ), Kaukauna; Dale “Chip” (Dawn), Neenah; and Jacque (Jim) Derfus, Appleto n. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Troy (special friend Wendy ), Chris (special friend Jacque), Jason (Fay), Sarah, Nathaniel (fiancee T iffany), Sandy, Gary, Lance, Jessica, Stephanie, Joshua and Zachary, and s ix great-grandchildren: Brandon, Savannah, Sadie, Elizabeth, Kiera and Kha lil.     Mark R. Stevens passed away November 16, 2010 after a couragious battle with cancer. Mark was born July 3, 1952, son of John and Shirley Stevens. He graduated from Appleton High School West in 1970. He then married his wife Laurie Kalwitz on June 30, 1977.
    He is survived by his wife Laurie and three sons Jeremiah (special friend Tiffany Reiland), Jason (wife, Andrea), Joshua (fiancee Jill Coenen). His mother Shirley and two sisters Susan Moses (Lancaster, CA) Mary Newman (Stockbridge, WI), and two brothers Peter (Valentina), Bill (Mickey) both of Appleton,WI. His grandchildren Sawyer, Hudson, Alexis, Aaron and future grand baby due in April. Sisters-in-laws Linda (Cliff) Griffin (Hiles, WI) Judy (Pat) Schommer Appleton, WI. Brother-in-law Phillip (Karen) Kalwitz.
    Mark loved not only his family and friends. He loved being up north, his dog Gus, hunting and of course his Mustang.     Peter John Stevens, age 59, passed away July 6th, 2016 while visiting in the Dominican Republic. Peter was born June 6th, 1957 in Appleton, WI to John R. Stevens and Shirley May (Ziegler) Stevens. He attended Appleton Schools graduating from Appleton West High School in 1975. While attending Appleton West High School, Peter enjoyed sports and broke records in pole vaulting. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Post service, he attended UW Whitewater, graduating from UW Platteville, with honors, with a BA in Education. He taught at several schools in the Spring Green, WI area. He also pursued graduate studies in Educational Media & Technology at the University of Indiana, Fort Wayne.
    Peter's many accomplishments as an educator, included an invitation to teach a special math class at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Peter was a consummate historian, with a focus on English and European history. He enjoyed long history discussions with his family and friends. He loved hunting, gardening, and playing Sheepshead with his wife and mother and his mother's lady friends. Peter also participated in mission work for his church in Panama.
    Peter loved veterans, all veterans and was dedicated to their well-being. He willingly joined senior medical staff at the Milwaukee VA Hospital, teaching medical students about veteran care and managing PTSD.
    Peter and his wife Valentina Pavlov Stevens moved to the Dominican Republic where Peter taught for two years at the Garden Kids School. During his term with the school he worked tirelessly to obtain international accreditation for the school. He loved teaching and working with his many students.
    Peter and his wife moved back to the US due to illness. Over the next five years, he fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
    Peter is survived by his wife, Valentina Pavlov Stevens, his mother Shirley Stevens, his mother-in-law Dragica (Pavic) Pavlov, (Germany) his daughter Katie. He is also survived by his sisters Susan Moses of (TX), Mary Newman (Sun Prairie), a brother William and sister-in-law Mickie Stevens, (OR), his sister-in-law Laurie Stevens, brother-in-law Dean Pavlov (Germany), Shirley's grandson Michael, and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his father John R Stevens, his brother Mark Stevens.
    The funeral will be held at Faith Lutheran Church 601 East Glendale Avenue, Appleton, WI 54911 on Saturday, July 16th, 2016. Visitation from 9am to 11am at the church with a service to follow. Full military honors will follow the service at the church. Interment will be at 2 pm in Highland Memorial Park Appleton.
    His wife Valentina wishes to thank God and wants the world to know how blessed she is that this wonderful, loving, brilliant man came into her life. She will love him forever.

    Randy Lynn Alford (Freimuth, Dorschner) of Appleton, WI, passed away peacefully in her home on December 20, 2016 at the age of 62. She was born to parents Richard and Nancy Dorschner (Stevens) on December 8, 1954 in Appleton, WI. Randy grew up a second oldest child of five and attended Appleton West High School. She married Keith Freimuth in 1973, and the couple had four children. They were married eleven years and spent nine of them living in New Braunfels Texas. In 1999 she remarried and shared the remainder of her life in Appleton with her current husband William Alford.
    Randy earned a Degree in Marketing from Fox Valley Technical College and worked for many years as a researcher for Kimberly Clark, a position that allowed her to travel to several countries around the world. She was passionate about animals and volunteered at Fox Valley Humane Society where she rescued her dogs Jasmine, Sassy and Baloo. Randy opened her heart and home to many international students over the years, providing food and a comfortable environment. Most called her "Mima", the name used by her grandchildren. She kept in touch with many of them over the years. Randy enjoyed the arts. She loved musicals, sang and danced in local theaters and performed with the Americanos Drum and Bugle Corps. She enjoyed crafts and traveling but her main focus was always her family.
    Randy is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Chris (Jacque), Jason (Fay), Sarah, Nathaniel (Tiffany) and nephew Troy who was considered a son; step-children Sandy (Rebecca), Gary (Jenna); grandchildren Brandon, Savanah, Kiera, Sadie, Elizabeth, Khalil, Natalie, Alexander, Abram, Zebedee, and Boaz; siblings Rick (Susan), Dale (Dawn) Scott (Linda) and Jacque; and father-in-law Reverend Reginald Alford . She is preceded in death by parents Richard and Nancy Dorschner, mother-in-law, Flora, and granddaughter Olivia. You were loved Mama Mima.
    Friends and family are invited to join in a 'Winter White Celebration of Life' in her honor on Wednesday December 28, 2016, drop-in between 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at ATLAS WATERFRONT CAFÉ 425 W.     Ret. GySgt Craig Nicholas "Dirty" Stevens, 42, of Oceanside, CA, formerly of Dale, WI, born October 25, 1971, in Appleton, WI, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 in San Diego, CA, unexpectedly from complications of surgery surrounded by his loving family and friends.
    Craig was a retired GySgt, having served with the United States Marine Corps for twenty years before retiring in 2010. He volunteered to serve in Iraq, training Iraqis as border security personnel. After his honorable discharge, he was currently employed by Transocean International, working in offshore drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
    Craig grew up in Dale and graduated from New London Senior High School in 1990. He was a loyal Packers fan and Brewers fan. Craig also enjoyed surfing and riding his motorcycle.
    Craig was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louis and Rachel Schiesser; and paternal grandparents, Curtis and Dortha Stevens. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Sonoko Tokuyama-Stevens. Also surviving are his parents, Marguritte and Darwin LaPean of Belleville, IL, and Michael Stevens; siblings, twin brother, Bruce Stevens (Heidi) of Tucson, AZ; Heather (Jason) Poje of Chicago, IL; Amy (Jason) Whitaker of Belleville, IL; and Joshua LaPean of Belleville, IL. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
    Memorial services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Zion United Church of Christ, W9815 State Road 96, Dale, WI, 54931, with Pastor Deckert officiating. Per Craig's wishes, his inurnment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO, at a later date.

    Craig N Stevens was born in Appleton Wisconsin on October 25 1971. He grew up in Dale Wisconsin attended and graduated from New London High school in June of 1990 while spending the Majority of his senior Year in the delayed entry program preparing for Marine Corps Recruit Training. Craig graduated from Camp Marine Corps Recruit Training in November of 1990 and received orders for Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton California. While there he was trained in field Craft, Small unit tactics, self defense, and automatic weapon employment as well as conducting day and night patrols. Completing this he reported to the Assault Amphibian School for training as a Basic Amphibious Assault Vehicle Repairman aboard Camp Delmar Camp Pendleton Ca. His training comprised of Data and Description of the Amphibious Assault Vehicle, land and water operation, disassembly repair and reassembly of the major components of the Vehicle.
    Craig's First Duty Station in the Fleet Marine Force was the 2nd Fleet Service Support Group, aboard Camp Le Juene, North Carolina. In 1993 Craig received Orders to the Island Of Okinawa Japan where he was stationed at 3rd FSSG aboard Camp Kinser. It was while stationed on Okinawa where he met, Ms. Sonoko Tokuyama and on December the 3rd of 1993 they were married.
    Craig soon thereafter reported back to the AAS Battalion this time as a Sergeant and now a Section Maintenance Chief. He was responsible for the mechanics in his section and ensuring his vehicles were prepared for field training. Once there Craig soon distinguished himself and was soon recommended for the Intermediate Maintenance Course and shortly thereafter selected for Staff Sergeant and recommended for the Career Course where he was prepared for a career in the Marines. Subjects included Military Law, Uniform Regulations, Close order drill and Counseling junior Marines.
    Craig remained at the AAS Bn, until February of 1999 whereupon he reported back to Okinawa to 3rd FSSG and worked in the Maintenance Operations Center. Highlights of his tour there included assignment as the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Recovery Chief and eventually the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Ordnance Chief. This assignment allowed him to travel extensively in Asia, including the Philippines, Thailand and Korea.
    In 2004 Craig reported in to the 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion at Camp Pendleton Ca. as the Assistant Maintenance Chief in Headquarters and Service Company Maintenance Platoon. Shortly upon arriving and eager to get into the fight in Iraq or Afghanistan, Craig volunteered to join a Mobile Training Team as an Individual Augment. This duty normally designated to an Army Special forces 12 Man "A" Team involved rigorous weapons, tactics and Modern Standard Arabic Language training in Camp Le Juene North Carolina. Once Prepared, Craig's Team deployed to western Iraq where they trained Iraqi volunteers as Border Security personnel.
    Craig returned to the United States In June of 2006 and checked back into the 3D AABN in the same billet as previous held. Craig held this billet until he was hand select as an instructor at AAS Bn. Craig remained at this Post until he retired honorably on the 25th of June 2010.
    Now a Civilian, Mr. Craig Stevens began working for Claxton Logistics in the Marine Corps Logistical Base Barstow Ca. Craig's main responsibility was cataloguing USMC equipment stockpiles. Craig held this position until he was recruited by Transocean international, the World's Foremost deep water drilling contractor. Craig was hired as a subsea Trainee and took part in an intense training program. His new profession was now Maintaining Subsea Blow out preventers on the surface and up to 12,000 Ft below the surface. Training included 4 weeks at West Engineering, Katy Tx. and 4 Modules offered by Lloyds in the Netherlands, officially qualifying him as a Subsea engineer in June of 2014. Craig was assigned to the Transocean, Deepwater Clear Leader, involved in drilling operations in the Gulf of Mexico.
    Gunnery Sergeant Craig N. Stevens's personal awards include The Navy Commendation with 1 gold star the Navy achievement medal and the Good conduct Medal 6th award.
