    Anton C. "Tony" De Witt, 82, of Combined Locks, passed away on Wednesday.
    Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 601 S. Washington Street, Combined Locks. Visitation will be at the church on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A complete obituary will be in Sunday's paper.

    Anton C. "Tony" "Pete" De Witt, 82, of Combined Locks, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. He was born in Little Chute on January 7, 1934, son of the late Anton and Minnie (De Groot) De Witt.
    Tony worked at Thilmany Paper Mill for 41 years before his retirement. He was always helping people, whether it be with a project, giving valuable advice or volunteering. Tony received a Founders Award with the St. Joe's Food Pantry, he was Volunteer of the Year with the Salvation Army, and also volunteered with meals on wheels and the YMCA, helping with their Christmas tree sale. He faithfully donated blood with the Community Blood Center for many years.
    Part of Tony's daily routine was going to the YMCA every morning, an hour before it opened, and seeing all of his "YMCA Family." Together they would exercise and do plenty of socializing. Tony also enjoyed working in his yard and enjoying the wildlife in it. He was known as the "Mayor" of his neighborhood because he always knew what was going on. Most importantly to Tony was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
    Tony is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jean De Witt; his children: Paul De Witt, Mark (Kay) Beresford, Kim (Robert) Sjoquist, Kevin (Wendy Van Der Geest) De Witt, and Darin (Michele) De Witt; a former daughter-in-law, Wendy De Witt; grandchildren: Sara (Derek) Van Der Horst, Robin Beresford, Jeff (fiancé Kaitlin) Beresford, Ben (girlfriend Taylor) Sjoquist, Jennifer Sjoquist, Joshua (Meghan) De Witt, Aaron De Witt, Holly (Elliot) Arft, Connor De Witt, and Ember De Witt; great grandchildren: Lucas, Taylor, Owen, Alexis, Chase, and McCoy; three sisters: Rose (Ken) Huss, Mary Brown, and Theresa Halverson; two brothers: Bill (Dorothy) De Witt and Frank De Witt; a sister-in-law, Carol De Witt; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Tony was preceded in death by his parents; his mother and father-in-law; a brother, Bob De Witt; and a great grandson, Wesley.
    Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 601 S. Washington Street, Combined Locks. Visitation will be at the church TONIGHT, Monday evening, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.     Frank E. De Witt "Pat", age 81, formerly of Kaukauna, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. He was born in Little Chute on October 25, 1935, son of the late Anton and Minnie (De Groot) De Witt. Frank worked at Bel Kaukauna Cheese for many years before his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and of Holy Cross Catholic Church, where he was an usher at 4:30 Mass for many years. Frank volunteered at the Loaves and Fishes and made daily trips to visit with his friends at the neighborhood coffee shop, Kaukauna Coffee and Tea. He loved racing and listening to Y100, especially The Bear during the morning show.
    Frank will be missed by his siblings: Mary Brown, Rosie (Ken) Huss and Bill (Dorothy) De Witt; sisters-in-law, Carol and Jean De Witt; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
    Frank was preceded in death by his siblings: Robert and Anton De Witt and Theresa Halverson.
    Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating.     Robert J. "Bob" De Witt, 78, of Combined Locks passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. He was born in Little Chute on August 17, 1937, son of the late Anton and Minnie (DeGroot) De Witt.
    Bob married his sweetheart, Carol Van Domelen on November 7, 1964, celebrating over 51 years of marriage together. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. After the service, Bob worked at Rich's Bakery for many years until his retirement. Bob had a passion for European cars and enjoyed working on and driving them. He was a family man who enjoyed helping his kids with their projects, vehicle repairs, watching the grandkids or anything else where he could lend a hand for anyone he knew. Bob enjoyed working in the garden, walking the land behind his house, bike riding, model trains and most importantly, spending time with his family, especially his precious grandchildren.
    Bob is survived by his loving wife, Carol; his children: Scott (Cassandra) De Witt, Troy (Kelley) De Witt, Bobbi Jo (Ryan) Paschke, and Nick (Molly) De Witt; grandchildren: Parker, Alexandra, Prescott, Tanner (Kharley), Madyson, Eli, Jacob, Wyatt, Aidan, Kelsey, Gabriel, Riley, and Rayna; siblings: Mary Brown, Anton (Rojean) De Witt, Theresa Halverson, Rose (Ken) Huss, Bill (Dorothy) De Witt, and Frank De Witt; sisters-in-law: Jan (Keith) Reffke, Diane Stalzer, and Judith Lauer; and many other extended family members and friends.
    Bob was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Tina Marie De Witt; his parents; and in-laws, Martin and Evelyn Van Domelen; a brother-in-law, Orville Stalzer.

    Halverson, Theresa M. 76, Appleton, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016. She was born on September 28, 1939 in Appleton to the late Anton & Minnie (De Groot) De Witt. Theresa worked at Rich's Bakery for many years. She loved going to Timber Rattler games and watching baseball on TV, and she enjoyed listened to country music. Theresa loved her dogs Miggie & Lucy; they were her life.
    Theresa is survived by her sisters: Mary Brown, OR and Rosie (Ken) Huss, Kaukauna; brothers: Frank De Witt, Kaukauna and Bill (Dorothy) De Witt, Appleton; and sisters-in-law: Jean De Witt and Carol De Witt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her brothers: Anton and Robert De Witt.
    A memorial service for Theresa will be held at 6PM, Tuesday, September 6, at Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Novotny officiating. Friends may visit from 4PM until the time of service at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

    The family would like to thank Maria & Jose Sanchez for their loving care which allowed Theresa to be at home with her dogs.
