    Obituary:
    Raymond C. Hoelzel, age 84, of Neenah, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at Appleton Medical Center following a short illness. He was born June 11, 1920 in Appleton, son of George and Marie (Liethen) Hoelzel. Raymond married Roselotte "Lolo" Block, May 22, 1962, in Germany. He was employed at American Can Company for 44 years prior to his retirement in 1990 and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. He was a former president of the Litho Club of Central Wisconsin during 1961 and 1962. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah. His hobby was being a freelance photographer.
    Raymond is survived by his wife, Roselotte "Lolo"; his children: Henry (Judy) Hoelzel, Town of Harrison; Loridana (Andre) Randolph, San Diego; his grandchildren: Adam Lawler, Adrianna Randolph, Hunter and Harrison Hoelzel; a sister, Lois (Norm) Collins, Fort Mohave, Arizona.
    Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Rosemarie Rosenthal and a brother, Karl Hoelzel.
    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2005, at St. Gabriel Church with Rev. Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until the time of the mass.

    John " Jack" Andrew Liethen, 81, of Onalaska, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2016 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.
    He was born on February 5, 1935 to Frank and Tharcilla (Bornemann) Liethen.
    He married Yvonne "Bonnie" Conrad on December 17, 1988 at Camp Douglas Chapel.
    Jack retired from the US Army in 1991 as a full Colonel.
    He loved spending time with his friends and family on Lake Lucerne and the Mississippi River. He was an avid outdoorsman and golfer.
    He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Jeff (Julia) Liethen, Brian (Linda) Liethen, Paul (Heather) Liethen, Christine (John) Clark, Patrick Liethen, Jenifer (Bradford) Fry, Dena (David) Pope; grandchildren, Brent (Christine), Andrew, Jesse (Lauren), Lexi, Dylan, Abbygail and William Hesselberg, Jenna and Josie Fry, Taylor Pope; great grandchildren, Tatum, Elora, Casen; sisters, Phyllis Leach, Mary (David) Meier; sister in law, Myrna Liethen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank E. Liethen, William Liethen; and brother in law, David Leach Sr.
    A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Pastor Scott Skogen will officiate. Military Honors will be performed by the US Army Honor Detail.
    In lieu of flowers donations will be given to the Lake Lucerne Association.

    Richard Liethen, age 82, of Appleton, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014. He was born on July 19, 1932, in Appleton, the son of the late Henry and Stella (Dohr) Liethen. Dick served his country in the U.S. Army from 1952 until 1954. He was a graduate of American Technical Society in Chicago, Illinois. Dick was employed at Liethen Corporation and then Schreiter Auto Supply. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Dick enjoyed going up north, fishing, and he was an avid Brewer and Packer fan.
    Dick is survived by his daughters, Dr. Sue (Steve) Liethen-Bolwell of Carlsbad, California and Amy (Tommy Jr.) Guem of Aspen, Colorado; grandson, Tyler Bolwell of Carlsbad, California and brother, James (Marty) Liethen of Green Bay. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dick was preceded in death by his daughter Sara Liethen and a brother Mark Liethen.
    The funeral liturgy for Dick will be celebrated in spring at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the are appreciated. Online condolences can be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
