    Obituary:
    Owen T. Tim Hardy, age 61, formerly of Appleton, found peace on May 9, 2007, when he entered everlasting life. He was born January 22, 1946, to the late Owen Sr. and Lyda (Duffek) Hardy in Appleton, where he graduated from Xavier High School, in 1965. He was continuing his education in Milwaukee when he was drafted to serve in Vietnam. He received the Purple Heart, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Tim was honorably discharged in 1969. He has been a resident of Veterans hospitals in Tomah and King, and for the past twelve years has resided at Pine Manor Health Care nursing home in Clintonville. Family members wish to thank the staff there for the care they gave Tim.
    He is survived by a son, Chip; a daughter, Shannon Daniels and their families. His brother, Jim of Wild Rose and his family; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins survive.
    Funeral services for Tim will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2007, at Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri County Chapel, with Reverend Kevin Gregory officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call at the funeral home, from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of a memorial, any donations should be made to a favorite Veterans foundation.
