    Obituary:
    Margie Riehl, age 83, of New London, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at New London Family Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Margie was born on October 28, 1926, daughter of the late Henry & Esther (Wichman) Pelky. On July 12, 1947, she married Roy W. Riehl in Appleton. He preceded her in death in 1992.
    She formerly worked at Flanagans Kraut Factory in Bear Creek for many years and also helped her husband run their shoe & lawnmower repair shop in Bear Creek. She was a self taught homemaker and will always be remembered as being smart and sassy by all who knew her. Margie enjoyed visiting with her family and friends at Bucky's Restaurant in New London. She was a lifelong member of the DAV Auxilary.
    She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Ethel "Snooky" and Martin Young, New London; Rose and Bryce Young, WestBend; Ella and Vernell Kratzke, Clintonville; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Harlen and Karla Riehl, New London; Paul Riehl (Marge Hauer), Colorado; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Karen Pelkey, New London, James and Winnie Pelky , Kaukauna. Two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Norbert Young, New London, Shirley and Richard Willes, Appleton. One sister-in-law, Ruth Pelky, Milwaukee. Margie is further survived by 24 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
    Besides her husband and parents, Margie was preceded in death by a daughter Lois, an infant son Leroy, four brothers, Harold, Leslie, Leo, George Pelky. Also two sisters, Marie Pelky and Ruth Lorge and two sisters-in-law, Rella and Joyce Pelky.
    Funeral services for Margie will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bear Creek with Rev. Paul Alliet officiating. Burial will be in the Danish Cemetery, Bear Creek. Visitation will be held at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London from 4-8 p.m. Friday (TODAY), where a 7:30 p.m. Prayer Service will be held and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph Residence and also to the nursing staff at New London Family Medical Center.
