    Obituary:
    Edward Plamann 1923 N.Morrison St. Age 81, died at 4 p.m. Friday unexpectedly. He was born May 6, 1891 in Freedom and lived in Appleton and vicinity all of his life. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Men's Club of the parish. Survivors include his wife, Elsie; two daughters, Mrs. Wallie (Helen) Stolzman, Appleton; Mrs. Ronald (lla Mae) Jens, Black Creek.. two sons, Vernon, Greenville; Elroy, Black Creek; four brothers, Arthur, Harry, Walter and Emro, all of Appleton; one sister, Mrs. Hilda Mueller, Milwaukee; 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. F. M. Brandt officiating. Interment will be in Community Cemetery in the Town of Freedom. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home from 3 p.m. on Monday until 10 a.m. on Tuesday and then at the church until the hour of the service.

    Mrs. Laura Ziegler, 518 E. Spring St. Age 72, passed away early Friday morning at 1:30 a.m. after a short illness. She was born December 12, 1894 in the town of Freedom. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Appleton and the La- dies' Aid She was married to Emro Ziegler in St. Peter's church, Freedom in 1917. Mrs. Ziegler is survived by two sons, Carlton, Highland Beach Rd., Menasha; Gerald, Brookfield; six brothers, George, Edward, Walter and Emro Plamann, all of Appleton: Harry Plamann, Rt. 3, Appleton; Arthur Plamann, Greenville; two sisters Mrs. Ernest (Ida) Springstroh, Appleton; Mrs. Hilda Mueller, Milwaukee Mrs. Ziegler was preceded in death by her husband in 1923. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 302 N. Harrison St, Rev. F. M. Brandt officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Freedom. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 18, until 10:00 a.m. Monday and thereafter at the church.

    Arthur H. Plamann
    4740 N McCarthy Road, Appleton Age 80, died at 7 30 p m Friday, December 3, 1976 following a short ill - ness. He was born August 11, 1896 in the Town of Freedom. He farmed in the Town of Grand Chute until his retire- ment. Mr. Plamann served as a clerk for the McCarthy School for 30 years and assessor for the Town of Grand Chute. He was the director of the Greenville Co-op Gas Company, a charter member of The Community Lutheran Cemetery Association and a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Appleton. He is survived by his wife, Linda, two daughters Mrs. Chester (.Lucille) Schroeder, and Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Huebner both of Ap- pleton, two sons Donald, at home, and Merlyn, of Appleton, a brother, Harry, of Appleton, two half brothers Walter and Emro Plamann, both of Appleton, a sister, Mrs. Hilda Mueller, Mil- waukee, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by two brothers George and Edward, two sister Ida and Laura, a granddaughter, two great-granddaughters The funeral will be a t 2 p m Monday at Mount Olive Lutheran Church with Rev Richard Pankow, officiating Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Home from 3 p m to 9 p m Sunday, and from 8 a m to 10 a m Monday, then at the church until the time of the service.     Leola Anna "Ollie" (Plamann) Lutz, age 99, passed away peacefully at home, with family present, on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 . She was born August 4, 1913 to the late George and Hulda (Springstroh) Plamann. Leola married George Lutz on July 2, 1942, and together they had five children. George preceded her in death in 1972.
    Leola retired in 1978, after many years of service at Appleton Medical Center . She then volunteered in the Appleton Medical Center gift shop an additional 20 years. Leola loved baking, sewing, doing crafts, traveling and going fishing with her family. Later, as her health deteriorated, she loved to read, do puzzle books and watch the birds and squirrels at the feeders. And she always had the Packer game on!
    Leola is survived by three sons: Warren (Barbara) Lutz, Garry (Teena) Lutz and Wayne (Sue) Lutz; two daughters: Nona (John) Weber and Coralee (Tom) Dike; 12 grandchildren, Jeff (Annette) Lutz, Craig Lutz, Jill (Brian) Adams, Melissa Lutz, Jamie Lutz, Risa (Chad) Janowski, Nicole (Craig) Silta, Greg (Deb) Weber, Andrew (Lauren) Weber, Kelly Dike, James Dike (fiancé Heidi Federwitz), Shelly Dike; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is further survived by her brother; Duane ( Charlotte ) Plamann, her sister; Ardene Weyenberg, as well as several other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George, brothers, Melvin Plamann and Wilmer Plamann; sisters Marcella Schommer, Bernice Techlin and Lois Stephani as well as many other family members and friends over the years.
    A funeral service for Leola will be at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church Celebration Campus, 3100 E. Evergreen Drive , Appleton with Rev. Aaron Rosenow officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until the time of service, also at the Celebration Campus. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park , Appleton , on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM.
    The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Theda Care at Home Hospice nurses for their incredible care of Leola and her family these last few weeks.
    Also, a special thank you to Dr. Bill Boots of Boots Chiropractic and his staff for their many years of caring for Leola.

    Obituary:
    Kaukauna - No doubt there are celebrations occurring in heaven including hugging, laughing, harmonizing and playing Sheepshead. That is because our wonderful loving, kind, caring, and fun Mom (Ardene Plamann Weyenberg), formerly of Freedom, went into her heavenly father's arms on July 10, 2018 after suffering a stroke at St. Paul's Home in Kaukauna, where she resided for 11 years. She was 94 years young, was born December 14, 1923 to the late George and Hulda (Springstroh) Plamann and married Dad (Clyde) on July 18, 1942. He preceded her in death on May 9, 2009.
    Mom graduated from Freedom High School in 1941, married Dad and he was drafted into the Army Air Force in 1943. When he left, Mom and Sharon (10 days old) went to live with Mom's mother and father in Appleton. A few years after Dad returned from war in November of 1945, they moved to Freedom and Mom was a stay-at-home Mom for years while Dad had a canned milk route. Mom was not afraid of hard work. She worked at a bakery when Dad was at war, later worked at Zwicker Knitting Mill and shared the responsibility of running the Freedom Bowling Alley and the VFW Tavern with Dad for many years. Many great times were had while running the bowling alley and VFW and life-long memories and friendships were developed. There are so many fun and great stories that can be told about those times. Mom ended the last 20 years of her career as a secretary at Freedom Elementary School.
    Mom was active in her church and with the Freedom VFW Post 7952. She was the first president of the Freedom VFW Auxiliary. In years to follow, she also held secretary and treasurer positions as well as working on numerous projects to help raise money for the organization. She was also a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Ladies Aid and truly enjoyed the many years of being active with this special group of ladies.
    Mom is survived by her two daughters Sharon (Jim) Greiner and Diane (Ernie) Johnson; five grandchildren Jeff (Stacey) Greiner, Jill (Dick) Vosters, Tina (Steve) Van Rossum, Greg (Megan) Vande Wettering and Tami Skenandore. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren - Dylan, Emily and Alivia, Samantha, Adam and Leah, Cody, Abby and Ben, Brad, Jenna and Megan and Jalyn and Devon. She is further survived by her brother, Duke Plamann, and brother-in-law Gene Stephani.
    She was preceded in death by Dad, her mother and father, her siblings Melv, Shorty, Leola, Sally, Bernice and Lois. Many in-laws also preceded her including her father and mother in-law, Jane and John Weyenberg, along with in-laws Virginia, Millie, George, Bob, Bill and Char on her side of the family and Ray and Ev, Polly and Gene, Merv and Myrtle, Martha and Ted, Irene and Al, Dorothy and Lee, and Orville and Marge on Dad's side of the family.
    In August of 2007, Mom and Dad moved into St. Paul's and it was a fabulous new home for them. Thanks goes out to the numerous employees who cared for and loved her. For Mom, there was no better place to live the last phase of her life prior to joining the good Lord.
    Visitation will be at St. Peter's Lutheran Church at N2740 French Road in Appleton on Monday, July 16th. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. There will be luncheon following the service with the burial ceremony at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Mausoleum.
    We would like to thank everyone at St. Paul's who treated Mom like a queen and special thanks to Linda Nieves and Deacon Don Newhouse who were definitely Mom's earthly guardian angels while she was at St. Paul's.
    Mom was the best wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, friend and the most gracious child of God. We know she is with Jesus in Heaven and look forward to the day we will reunite.

    Evelyn Emma Lillge, 83, Appleton, has gone to be with her Lord and husband in heaven on Sunday, March 18, 2007. She was born July 27, 1923, to the late Ernest and Ida (Plamann) Spring-stroh in Freedom. Evelyn graduated from Freedom High School in 1941, and proudly played on the Appleton Merchant's girls softball team. She married Harold Lillge Dec. 2, 1944, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Freedom. Among her places of employment were: AAL, Peterson-Rehbein Meat Market and Sears until her retirement. Evelyn was a member of the City of Appleton Fireman's Auxiliary for many years. She was a very active faithful member of Bethany Lutheran Church where she served her Lord on the Altar Guild.
    Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Sheryl (Daniel) Hanke, Sparta; Debra (Donald) Miller, Appleton; grandchildren, Kristi Jenson, Nathan Hanke, Kari Hanke, Chad Miller, Stephanie (Phillip) Luehring, Timothy Miller and Michelle Miller; great-granddaughter, Emma Luehring; sisters-in-law, Verona Lillge and Gladys Krueger. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; brothers, Marlin (Ellen) Springstroh and Lawrence (Melda) Springstroh.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Bethany Lutheran Church, with Rev. Mark Henke and Daniel Hanke officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be Tuesday at the church, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
    A memorial fund is being established.

    Donald A. Plamann 75, Appleton, passed away Tuesday November 6, 2007 at Brewster Village after numerous health problems over the past ten years. He was born May 9, 1932 to the late Arthur and Linda (Jentz) Plamann in the Town of Grand Chute. Don worked on the family farms his entire life. He was in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also a lifetime member of Mt. Olive Ev. Lutheran Church. Don was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers.
    He is survived by his sisters: Lucille Schroeder, Greenville and Arlene (Bob) Huebner, Appleton; sister-in-law Adeline Plamann, Appleton; nieces and nephews: Gary Schroeder, Judy Lynn (Ken) Schermitzler, Melissa Huebner, David (Barb) Plamann, Larry (Mary Jo) Plamann, Keith (Gina) Plamann and Roger Plamann.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Merlin; brother-in-law Chester Schroeder and nieces: Debby Plamann and Judy Ann Schroeder.
    Funeral services for Don will be held at 11:00 am Friday November 9, 2007 at Mt. Olive Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Benjamin Berger. Interment will be in Community Lutheran Cemetery, Freedom at 2:00 pm Friday with Military Honors performed. Friends may visit at the Church Monday morning from 9:30 - 11 am. Memorials may be directed to Mt. Olive Church in Don's name.

    Brenda L. Ray Apopka, FL - (nee Plamann) Of Apopka, FL, formerly of Wauwatosa, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at age 56. Wife to Jonathan Ray for 28 years and mother of Kate (26) and Allison (21) Ray. Daughter of Duane "Duke" and Charlotte Plamann and sister of Steve (Rhonda) Plamann and Greg (Sharon) Plamann, all of Appleton. Daughter-in-law of Gerald and Carol Ray and sister-in-law of David (Edye) Ray and Beth (Eric) Westlund. Further survived by nieces, a nephew, other family, colleagues and many dear friends.
    Brenda was born and raised in Appleton and then lived in the Milwaukee area for over 30 years, before moving to Central Florida in 2016. She was an amazing wife, nurturing and encouraging mother, a savvy business woman and a bright light to everyone she met. Brenda worked as a court reporter throughout her career. She owned and operated Ray Reporting in Milwaukee for 15 years, and also worked for two national court reporting firms. She was a Director of Business Development for U.S. Legal Services at the time of her death.

    Jeffrey "Jeff" L. Jens, 55, De Pere, went to his eternal rest on Sunday, March 30, 2014 while enjoying time with his family and friends. Jeff was born on June 23, 1958 in Appleton, the son of Ron and Ila Mae (Plamann) Jens. Jeff attended Shiocton High School and U.W. Oshkosh. On April 29, 1995 he married the former Carie Guns. Jeff had a heart of gold. His happiest times were watching his kids play sports, spending time with family, hunting with his brothers, getting in a round of golf, cutting his lawn, listening to the Beatles, calling The Fan Sports Radio, watching PGA, NCAA and NFL, being with the Denmark families and checking in on others.

    Roger M. Springstroh passed away unexpectedly and entered eternal life into the arms of our dear Lord on November 22, 2017. Roger was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa.
    Roger was born on April 15, 1941 to the late Lawrence & Melda (Witt) Springstroh in Brown County and grew up on the family dairy farm on French Road in Freedom. Roger was a lifelong member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, being baptized May 15, 1941 and confirmed in the Lutheran faith May 22, 1955. He attended St. Peter Ev. Lutheran School and Freedom High School, graduating in 1959.
    On December 30, 1961 Roger married Lois Voeks. They were blessed with 3 sons, 1 daughter, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Jeffrey Lee Springstroh (deceased 2012), his children: Corey Springstroh (special friend Brenda and her daughter, Brianna); Ryan Springstroh; Travis & Ashlie Springstroh & children Parker, Anna, Taylor; & Justin Springstroh (special friend Mikayla).
    Randy & Michelle Springstroh & children Stephanie (special friend Nick) & Isaac.
    Dan & Christy Springstroh & children Tyler & Emilie.
    And Kathy & Kevin Moeller & daughter Kourtney.
    Over the years Roger was employed at Outagamie County Equity, Fox Tractor and last at MCC until his retirement.
    Roger enjoyed spending time with his family. His grandkids and great-grandkids brought so much joy to his life. Roger had a passion for the outdoors, especially deer hunting and fishing. Gardening, making sausage and making good use of his wild game smoker were other interests of his.
    In addition to his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Roger is further survived by brothers; Ron & Marge and Lloyd & Kaye and sister-in-laws: Nancy Springstroh, Jane Van Asten, Elaine Springstroh, & brother-in-law Richard Liewergen and many nieces & nephews.
    Roger is also survived by Lois' family: Helen Johnson, Darlene (Bill) Schroeder and Darrell Voeks.
    Preceded in death by his parents, his son Jeffrey, brothers Richard, Jim (Harv), Larry and sister Janet Liewergen and nephew Christopher Springstroh. Also by Lois' parents Rhinold & Alice Voeks, sister-in-law Dorothy Schimmelpfenning, nephews Kevin Johnson, Michael Voeks and David Schroeder.
    Roger's family will receive relatives and friends at St. Peter Lutheran Church, N2740 French Road, Appleton, WI 54913 on Sunday, November 26 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and again on Monday, November 27 from 9:00-10:45 a.m. Service for celebration of Roger's life will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Glende and Jim Fleming officiating.     Springstroh, Larry L.
    Larry entered eternal life with our dear Lord on April 3, 2013. Larry was a devoted husband, father and grandpa.
    Larry was born on October 7, 1950 to the late Lawrence and Melda (Witt) Springstroh in Brown County and grew up on the family dairy farm in Freedom. He attended St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran School and Freedom High School, graduating in 1969.
    Larry served his country in the United States Army for 2 years (1969-1971). He was stationed in Baumhaulder, Germany, where he worked on heavy equipment.
    On April 18, 1975, Larry married Elaine Resch. They have 3 sons and 8 grandchildren, Rick and Amanda (Hemling) and children, Erik, Crystal and Nathan; Tim and Nicole (Lehrer) and children, Natalee, Luke and Jenna; Scott and Amy (VanDeHey) and children, Kelly and Ben.
    Over the years, Larry worked as a heavy truck technician at Baur Truck and Foreway Express prior to working at MEE as a road service technician.
    Larry was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. His grandchildren brought so much joy to his life.
    Larry was an active member at St. John Lutheran Church, he served on the church council as trustee, served as an usher and helped out in countless other ways. Prior to that, he was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church where he served on the church council, school board, and assisted in many other ways.
    In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, Larry is further survived by brothers: Ron (Marge), Roger (Lois), Lloyd (Kaye) and one sister, Janet (Rich) Liewergen. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Nancy Springstroh and Jane Springstroh VanAsten and many nieces and nephews.
    Larry is also survived by brothers and sisters in-law: Chuck and Audrey Kautza, Dale and Cindy Resch, Milton and Carolyn Mosher, Tim and Rita Resch, Margaret Blanchard, Kathy Chaignot, Al and Marie Benes, Ray and Jo Resch, Gene and Patty Resch, Mary Lex and Pam Resch.
    Preceded in death are his brothers, Richard and Jim "Harve" Springstroh. He was also preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Harry and Anna Resch of Phlox, WI; brothers-in-law, Tom Blanchard and Lester "Tuffy" Chaignot and his nephews: Christopher Springstroh, Paul Chaignot, Keith Kerstetter and Jeff Springstroh.
    God gave Larry a strong faith; this faith helped him during his daily life but especially during his battle with cancer.
    The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church N3505 Hwy 47 Appleton, with Revs. Jeffrey Suhr and Micah Martin officiating. Interment will be in Community Lutheran Cemetery, Freedom with military honors. Larry's family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8PM and again on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of services.

    The family would like to especially thank Dr. Xin Yao, Dr. John Swanson, Jr. and the staffs at the Martha Seikman Cancer Center and ThedaCare Hospice for their wonderful care during this difficult time.

    Joy Ehlke, age 66, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015. She was born on January 23, 1949, to the late Marlin and Ellen Mae (Arnold) Springstroh. On June 13, 1970, Joy married the love of her life Thomas Ehlke at St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church in Appleton. She was a member of St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church. Her life's focus and energy revolved around her children and her grandchildren. She was always eager to share stories about her family with the people she knew.
    Joy is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Tom Ehlke; five sons: Scott (Kathie) of Waukesha, Kevin (Stephanie) of Fond du Lac, Mark (Mandy) of Appleton, Joshua of Seattle, Washington, and Brett (Lori) of Stevensville, Michigan; grandchildren: Braden, Emma, and Alex; Owen, Oliver, and Simeon; Melita, Amalie, and Matthias; Ian, Aaron, Ella, and Olivia; her sister Kay Springstroh of Oshkosh; sister-in-law Kathie Weihing of Bloomington, Illinois; brothers-in-law: Bob (Judy) Ehlke of Casey, Illinois and Don Ehlke of Menasha.     Jeffrey Springstroh, 49, went into the arms of his Lord unexpectedly on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at home. He was born on July 21, 1962, in Appleton, son of Roger and Lois (Voeks) Springstroh. Jeff worked concrete work/excavating and most recently worked for Baumgart Excavating. Jeff's passions in life were hunting, Ford trucks, bald eagles, and spending lots of time up north and around family and friends that he loved dearly.
    Jeff is lovingly survived by his parents; 4 sons: Corey (special friend Theresa), Ryan (special friend Angela) and her daughter Olivia, Travis (special friend Ashlie) and their son Parker, who was Jeff's little buddy, and Justin; brothers: Randy (Michelle) and Dan (Christy); a sister, Kathy (Kevin) Moeller; nieces and nephews: Stephanie, Isaac, Tyler, Emilie, Kourtney, and many special friends.
    Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, two uncles, and three cousins.
    Memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at St. Peters Lutheran Church, N2749 French Road, Appleton, with Rev. Tim Glende officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Jeff's name.

    Lara Plamann, 30, died unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, at her home in Greenville. Lara was born Feb. 19, 1977, to Larry and Mary Jo (Guckenberg) Plamann in Appleton. Lara grew up in Grand Chute, graduated from Hortonville High School in 1995 and went on to St. Norbert College in De Pere, where she graduated with a degree in business, and a minor in English. She worked on the family farm with her parents and had her own business manufacturing dog agility equipment. Lara was a wonderful person who touched the lives of many through her involvement with the Outagamie County 4-H program, Winnegamie Dog Club and numerous horse related clubs and organizations. Her love of animals, horses, her dog, Magic, and her family was evident to all who knew her. Lara had an extraordinary smile that will live on in our hearts forever. Her witty personality and candid opinions helped keep our family together.
    Lara is survived by her parents; her brother, Casey (Bridget) and sister, Abby (Tom) Ames; her grandmothers, Adeline Plamann, Appleton and Evelyn Guckenberg, Neenah. She will be greatly missed by her dog, Magic, and her horses. She is further survived by her uncles, David (Barb) Plamann, Hortonville; Roger Plamann, Minnesota; Keith (Gina) Plamann, Appleton; Peter (Sue) Guckenberg, Omro; Jim (Diane) Guckenberg, Neenah; Mike (Tina) Guckenberg, Rhinelander; and Tom (Marcia) Guckenberg, Virginia. Lara is also survived by her special friends, Dianna Siveny and Andrea Shay; along with many cousins and friends. Lara was especially close to her Godparents, Jim and Betty (deceased) Erdmann, Sherwood.
    Lara is preceded in death by her grandpa, Merlin Plamann; grandpa, Peter Guckenberg; aunt, Debra Plamann; and cousins, Randy and Allen Guckenberg.
    A memorial mass for Lara will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 30, 2007, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Greenville, Wis., with Monsignor John H. Schuh, Grand-Uncle, Father Mark Vander Steeg, Father Justin Werner, Father Dennis Ryan, Father Lee Kahrs and Deacon David De Young concelebrating. Family and friends may call at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
    Lara, you were always there when we needed you, whether it was helping with farm chores or fixing Mom's computer messes. Thank you for all that you did. We will remember and love you forever. - Dad and Mom

    Questions abound about Lara Plamann's shooting death
    Family: 'She was always there'

    Friends vividly remember the awards she earned in high school, the tricks she taught her dog, and her zealous love of decoration.
    But questions remain about Lara Plamann's life and the way it ended.
    Family members, like police, have been guarded in what they say publicly about Plamann, 30, whose body was found Oct. 18 sitting up in a chair, arms at her side, in a pole shed on her property in Greenville. Even for those who were close to the personable young woman, there are some parts of her world that are either not fully understood nor readily discussed.
    What isn't in question is that someone shot Plamann in the head, bringing to a seemingly unlikely close the promising, if quiet, life of a private woman not given to trouble.
    A sergeant with the Outagamie County Sheriff's Department found Plamann one morning after her self-described domestic partner, 48-year-old Dianna Siveney, reported her missing and hours after she failed to show up for work.
    Siveney told police she and Lara had been domestic partners since 1998 and had bought the residence together in 2004, according to a search warrant. The pair also ran a business together out of their home.
    Plamann's relationship with Siveney received no mention during a memorial service last week at a Catholic church in Greenville.
    Police found Plamann's body after Siveney gave them the keys to search outbuildings on their property. They found no gun at the bloody scene around her. In fact, it isn't clear from the sparing accounts offered up by police whether Plamann was killed there or whether the killer moved the body to the shed after shooting her elsewhere, though a graphic description of the scene contained in the search warrant seems to suggest the former.
    "Suffice it to say when we got the full autopsy results back late Friday evening (Oct. 19), there was no doubt that it was not suicide," said sheriff's Capt. Mike Jobe, who declined to elaborate.
    The few clues about Plamann's death may rest in the pages of the autopsy report, which has not been made public.
