Obituary:
Edward W. Lawler, Route 1, Pound, Wisconsin Age 73, passed away unexpectedly at home Monday. He was born July 29,1901 in Shiocton and married the former Ruby Marek on October 5, 1922 in Marinette. The couple lived in Appleton where he worked as a foreman for the Pierce Auto Body Works until his retirement in July of 1967 when they moved to Half Moon Lake, Route 1, Pound, Wisconsin. Survivors include his wife, Ruby; two sons, Leland of Racine, Verlyn of Green Bay; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Gallagher-Pinkart Funeral Home in Oconto with Rev. Frederick Mai officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Gallagher-Pinkart Funeral Home in Oconto.
