  Mrs. William Wichman. Sr., 72 828 W. Spring street died at her home at 11:15 Friday night after a lingering illness. She was born April 1, 1868, in Germany and came to the United States with her parents, the family settling in Milwaukee. After living in Milwaukee 3 years she moved to the town of Center where she lived 52 years. Mrs. Wichman moved to Appleton 12 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Wichman observed their golden wedding anniversary Dec. 22,1938. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church. Surviving are the widower; two daughters. Mrs. Arnold Muenster, Seymour; Mrs. Edward Young. Jr, Appleton: five sons, Fred, Appleton; William, Jr.. Raymond. Almond route 3. Appleton: George, Seymour: a sister. Mrs. Mary Kranzusch, Appleton, and 26 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:45 Monday afternoon at Wichmann Funeral home and at 2 o'clock at St. Paul Lutheran church by the Rev. F. M. Brandt. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.   William Wichmans Observe Golden Wedding Anniversary Natives of Germany who came to the United States as children and who were married in the town of Center, Mrs. William Wichman, 828 W. Spring street, today are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. The celebration will take the form of a supper given by their sons and daughters tonight at the home of a son, Almond, town of Center, where Mr. and Mrs. Wichman lived before moving to Appleton 10 years ago. About 50 persons will be present at the supper including the Rev. T. J. Sauer, honorary pastor of St. Paul Lutheran church who will give a talk, and Mrs. Mary Kranzusch. Appleton. who was one of the attendants at the wedding 50 years ago on Dec. 22, 1888. Mr. Wichman is 73 years old and his wife is 71. They have five sons. Fred, Appleton; George, town of, Osborn: William, Jr., and Almond, Freedom; and two daughters; Mrs Arnold Muenster, town of Osborn; and Mrs Ed Young, Appleton: also 25 grandchildren.
